So, should you and I coordinate so we're not fighting over the same gift cards - lol? I'm kidding. I can't handle any more fuel points, otherwise I'll never use them all. Gotta wait until 10/1 unfortunately.

I did! When I went to purchase another $300.00 in Disney cards the $1.99 place mats were not available. So I found another item that was even less and still got the ebates! Yay! This is really addicting.

I'm also loading the cards into my (newly opened) Disney Vacation Account to get another 2% back (but my time will be limited since our final payment will be due in March meaning I only have until November to get the funds into the account (to qualify for the 2% back).

Yes it does, however there needs to be a software update cause for our stores, you still gotta sign for it which is weird.

Yes, just click on the link in the email and the ebay bucks will become active. Then I close it out and go through Ebates. Just make sure before you submit the final payment on Ebay that you are getting the bonus bucks. Hope that helps.

You can set up a future payment with your credit card. Then add your gift cards and cancel the future payment.

Or just make your initial $10 deposit with your credit card, then add the gift cards. That's what I did.

I'm confused. Why do you only have until November to get the $20 gift card(s) from DVA?

I thought I read that the $$ has to be in the DVA for 120 days to get the $20.00 gift cards. So if I have to pay the vacation by March then 120 days for the $$ to be in the account would be November.

If I read incorrectly I would be thrilled because I would be able to put almost the entire amount into the DVA and get almost the maximum amount of gift cards!

Technically, the DVA has to be open for 120 days. You could open the account w a small deposit... wait 60 days, deposit some... wait 30 days, deposit more, wait 30 days, withdraw it all, and you will get the 2% on all of it. If you're going in March, just open the account now.

The account just has to be OPEN for 120 days before you request any bonus. The money doesn't have to be there the entire time.

Now ebay is offering 5x in ebucks so I'm going to attempt to cycle them through again for even more savings. If all goes to plan I think it will work out to 38.8% in savings.

Using the $600 Target cards I had from below:
Buy 600 of Ebay cards from Target (570 with 5% off)
Buy 600 of Target gift cards from ebay (using 600 ebay + 14.89 shipping) (Get 60.00 ebay bucks + 6.00 ebates)
Buy 650 of Disney cards = 617.50 (600 from Target cards bought on ebay + 17.50 leftover target card from original)

If my orders don't get cancelled, I'm looking at a 31% overall savings on this 500.00. Plus if you add the 20.00 ebay bucks and 10.00 ebates, the savings would be even higher.

Believe me...it took everything in me to not cash them in. I can't tell you how many times I put the Disney cards in my cart. My Disney trip isn't until March, so it's not like I need them anytime soon.

Received a targeted ebay promo this morning - 5x ebay bucks, so 10%. So for those of you doing the Discover/Apple pay promo, you can buy the ebay cards at Staples (not sure about Office Max/Depot), and then go to ebay to get your Target cards. Looks like they are still out of the $100 cards. Doing the math, I came up with 23.5% savings when all is said and done.

So as long as I have the entire amount of the vacation in the DVA in March and still get the 2% in gift cards since the account will have been open since September? That is incredible! So much easier than sending my travel agent a list of dozens and dozens of gift card numbers with their pins (which is what I did last year).

i thought i did good cashed in 1000 in target giftcards doing the ebay x5 points thing. end of the day saved 30%.

i think if you go to ebay website. one of the popups "that changes" should show the 5x point deal.

Just a couple of points of clarification:

• It's not 2%. It's $20 worth on a Disney GC for every $1000 spent on qualifying purchases. If you spend $1500, you don't get $30, you only get $20.
• You cannot withdraw the funds and get the bonus. You must spend the funds with Disney and it has to be used someplace that accepts the DVA. For instance, you can purchases tickets online with the DVA but you cannot use the DVA to purchase tickets in the parks. You can use the DVA to pay for the dining plan as a part of the package but you cannot use the DVA to pay for meals at the parks otherwise. Purchasing a Disney GC with your DVA funds does not count as a qualifying purchase toward the bonus.
