Disney Gift Card Deals

ebay bucks deal is on. you can buy 2 $50 target gift cards to get 8 back in bucks, but you will be charged 3.98 in shipping.

My read of the T&C says this won't work.

• 4% in eBay Bucks on every qualifying single item
• 6% in eBay Bucks for every qualifying item of $50 or more
• 8% in eBay Bucks for every qualifying item of $100 or more

So two $50 gift cards would qualify for 6% back. It says valid on multiple qualifying items, but that the items qualify individually. You'd want to find $100 or greater single gift cards to get the 8%.

Wow, I'm really confused. I looked at the first couple of pages and the last couple of pages, but couldn't make heads or tails of what to do. Is there a post number I can look at that will give me an idea of how to purchase the cheapest disney gift cards? I'm going at the end of Sept. and didn't realize those could be used for tips/souvenirs, etc.!

With the short turn around the best you can do is about 10%. First by buying target gift cards on raise .com at usually 5-6% off then using those to buy disney gift cards on target .com while using a red card discount for another 5% off from target.

There's no single post to look at because the options keep changing and vary by the stores in your area. It's just a matter of being creative to manipulate payment methods. You can buy Disney Gift cards from Target at 5% off on your red card. Or, you can look for other ways to pay at Target. You can buy Target Gift Cards online thru various sites at around 5% off, then use those at Target to get the Disney ones at 5% off. (around 10% total) You can put that money into a Disney Vacation account for 120 days to earn another 2%. Ebay has a good 8% deal right now if you can find a card and win an auction on it, but that takes time. If you don't already have a Cardpool account, then a new account might get deliveries delayed (it's unpredictable). Target regularly goes in and out of stock on Disney cards. Simplest thing to do is buy on Target.com, but I wouldn't chance them being delivered by mail if leaving in 2 weeks. It's just too rushed and if anything goes wrong it's more likely to be a headache you don't need at this stage. It's fun to do when you have time on your side and not a vacation looming.

With your vacation imminent, I would just go in to a store, buy $X of Disney Gift Cards, pay w the Red Card, and get 5% off. No risk, and you're done immediately. But, if you're only doing a handful, you'll probly eat up your savings in the gas to get there. There's also deals to be had at Sams Club, Costco, and a few others.

I agree with the 2 previous posters. Reading first and last few pages of any monster thread is not going to be helpful. If you're not going to take the time to read the whole thing (and who has time when there's a Disney trip coming up in 3 weeks!), then take the super-quick approach: go to Target and buy Disney GCs with your Target REDCard. You'll get 5% off of the face value of the Disney GCs. If you had more time, then you could get into buying discounted Target GCs and then ordering online. But with only 21 days left to September, I wouldn't trust Target to get those Disney GCs to me in enough time if I did an online order.

is there any way to back door in any extra incentives....for example, by having a discount that isn't good on gift cards, but adding a filler item to your cart, and then getting the discount on the full basket? or getting rewards back through a site by doing the same thing?

Some rewards website will credit you for GC purchases. Others will not. And still others will let it slide if it automatically credits but won't award you points if it doesn't.

There is no "backdoor" on Target's website to apply a discount to GC purchases that is not meant to apply to them. The last one was the PayPal discount and the door slammed shut pretty quickly after it was posted on here.

If you go through ebates and buy Disney gift cards at Target you will get ebates on the gift cards if you add something else to your cart which qualifies.

Last night I tried adding a Disney gift card to my Star Wars shirts and trying code FORCE to no avail. I also got a 5% pharmacy rewards online code and that didn't work either. So I don't think there are any right now.

I know some people have success in getting ebates to work if they add something besides the gift cards to their order.

I just go through mypoints.com to get the points when buying only the gift cards. It always credits even though I am buying the disney gift cards with Target gift cards.

I think I remember seeing,if you add something else to the order it works with shopathome.com too?

Ebates definitely works. I did it on Sunday by adding a pack of boys' underwear. I've tried before but kept adding stuff that didn't qualify (e.g., hand sanitizer, hair products) and it didn't work.

Okay, I just looked up the target red card, I don't have it yet so is it possible for me to apply and get it in time for me to order the gift cards?

While I know the Ebay Target deal is over, I am wondering if Target is no longer selling Ebay cards at all. They are no longer listed on the website.

Do the debit card in store. Takes just a few minutes and all you need is a blank check.

I'm leaving in 2 weeks....so no time to wait on target gift cards to come in the mail. What would be the quickest way to grab some gift cards with the biggest discount? I'm thinking of using my topcashback savings to get a Walmart egift card from cardpool (around 2.5% savings) then having my mother in law use my Walmart egift card at Sam's in store to buy a $150 pack of disney gift cards (around 5% savings). Basically I won't have to pay anything out of pocket...but wondering if I can get larger discounts than the cardpool/Walmart/Sam's combination saving about 7.5% and still be able to get the gift cards quick. Hubby is on the edge of actually letting me book the bounce back offer while we are there...so I need some extra gift cards to put the deposit down. :tigger:

You have how much time until you leave? 3 weeks at most? You might be able to get instant approval at the store but you will be limited as to how much you will be able to spend on the temporary credit card AND they may not allow you to get a discount on the Disney GCs with it. I doubt that you will be able to get the physical CC in the mail with too much time to spare before you leave for Disney.

Do you have a Sam's Club membership? They sell Disney GCs at a discount there. You might want to try them. It's not as good as the Target discount but it's better than nothing.

I was able to apply for the debit card and use it immediately.

I am sure this has been asked before but this thread is huge! Does anyone know if there is any kind of limit that Target puts as to number of Disney Gift Cards you can purchase? Also, does anyone know if you can stack your pharmacy rewards on top or did I read somewhere that had been discontinued?

Thanks in advance for any advice!!
