Disney Gift Card Deals

Does anyone know if you can also apply the extra 5% earned on redperks app for Disney gift cards purchased in store at Target?

Maybe it does depend on the CM you get but it's definitely possible to do. I find it interesting that I was staying at an All Star resort and you at AKL, you'd think the service at the more expensive resort would be more accommodating.
Nobody is arguing that it's possible. We know it is, but it seems to be against policy. That may be a recent change, but it's pretty clear that CM's have been trained to not apply gift cards as a credit on your resort account.

I've read through a bunch of pages but can someone explain to me the ebay/target/disney giftcard thing in a nutshell. I get using a target giftcard to buy a disney giftcard online and getting the 5% off but I don't get where ebay comes into play. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately this isn't relevant anymore, as the deal has passed. If you're interested, you can go back a few pages and someone asked the identical question (which was answered).

Since it is 9/9 at WDW, does anyone think it's safe for me to purchase my tickets (trying to spend the money on my DVA at exactly the 120 day mark)? I inquired about it earlier in the thread. May 12th was when I opened my DVA and 9/9 marks 120 days- just wondering if it will qualify at just past midnight east coast time... does that make sense? (I'm on the west coast)

EDIT: NM. I looked up an email from my last contribution. I received it at 5:11 PM my time but the email from Disney stated that my contribution was at 8:06 PM. So they DO go by Eastern time and not my local time.

I was curious too as an avid target shopper who also never heard of this. Apparently it is a new app currently in beta testing that is only avail in select areas (I googled it). They apparently are sending out invitations as they test it-you can request an invite but it may not be avail in your area yet (not avail in Pittsburgh yet).

Since it appears a lot of people don't know about/have access to this app (since it is still in beta testing for certain areas) I'm not sure anyone could tell you positively but I would guess not since the extra 5% off coupon people get from using the pharmacy specifically excludes gift card purchases (it used to be allowed but they stopped a while back).

How familiar are people with ebay bucks? I just got an offer for bonus ebay bucks, but I don't see the offered percentage in my cart when I try to buy target gift cards. I clicked through with the link like you're supposed to. There aren't any $100 cards left (which should be 8% back), so I would have to buy $50 cards, which according to the email should be 6% back but I am only seeing 2% back in my cart. Do you get them later?

I'm just curious, I won't be buying them because with the added shipping and no $100 cards it's still a better deal to buy from raise or cardpool, but I would like to know for future reference.

The eBay bonus isn't valid yet. Check your email for the time it will tell you when it's active. ☺️ eta: mine says it starts at 8:00 pt

Does anyone know of an online or app method to combine WalMart gift cards? All the info I can find says go to the store and buy one large WM gift card using the smaller ones. I have a lot of $5 and $10 ecards from this or that app.

You can actually buy them online and they offer free shipping. Theres a maximum number of GCs that you can use though...so I usually combine the max number of cards by buying an e-gift card, get that within a few hours, then rinse and repeat until they're all combined. The last one, i get a physical gift card.

An update to the question I posed above. I was at WalMart so I took all my e-card print outs to the customer service desk. I had $119 worth of e-cards earned from Ibotta, My Coke Rewards, Mplaces, Swagbucks, etc... I asked her to combine them on to one card. She was very nice but totally clueless how to do this. More experienced clerk nearby also clueless; CSM no help either. :confused3 As I stood there in line a teen girl next to me started crying because a lady in a motor scooter yelled at her :duck:  and another employee runs up to tell the CSM that there is a fight in the entrance. :scared: I scooped up my e-cards and said "I'll do this at home!"

:hippie::hippie::hippie::hippie:

The online method worked very well, and quick too. I was able to add them all to my Walmart account and use them right away. I received the ecards from them in 15 minutes, turned around and repeated three times. Easy peasy and no drama!! so thanks for the tip flightBOS! :thanks:

No problem! I typically find that, if I can do it myself, I'd rather that than relying on an employee. Most of the things I'm doing with orders/giftcards are very delicate...I don't need some employee screwing them up or saying "oh, no, you can't do that".

There is still somewhat of a deal, just not as good as before! You can buy discounted Target cards from raise or cardpool (about 6% off), then go on target and buy an ebay gift card (5% off with red card), then go on ebay and buy a target gift card. Ebay still has $100 target cards on sale for $95, limit 2 per ebay account. You purchase the target cards from the gift card store on ebay and these cards are mailed to you. Now you can use those target cards to buy Disney cards off target (5% off with red card).

Target does not have Ebay gift cards any more. They haven't had them since that one week of goodness.
Where are you seeing Target cards on Ebay at $95 for $100?

It was a promo being run by one of the big GC companies, but I believe that sold old quite fast... I don't think it exists any longer.

Oops! Sorry I hadn't checked for the ebay cards on target. Since I am done purchasing. It showed up on my "are you still interested" on my ebay homepage. Now I can't find it! Was there 5 minutes ago.

Ah... even for the Ebay cards at Target, for the first week after they stopped being available, they kept showing in my "people who bought this were also interested in.... " [...these things which you cant buy].

It amazes me that the auction-style listings for Target cards consistently bid up to over face value. Then there are ppl who sell Target cards as buy-it-nows for ridiculous prices (like $260 for $200) hoping someone mistakenly clicks to buy-it-now. So much ill intention out there, makes it hard to find the true ways to take advantage. ;)

ebay bucks deal is on. you can buy 2 $50 target gift cards to get 8 back in bucks, but you will be charged 3.98 in shipping.
