It should work, but if it doesn't track, you can submit your order info to RMN for them to manually credit it. Technically, they have 45 days for it to credit, so customer service might tell you to wait that time, but you should be able to get the credit, even if it doesn't track properly to start.

This is where using RMN for legit purchases (rather than gift cards) comes in handy.

I seriously love this thread, and am now much more aware of how to get little bits of cash back here and there on the other things I buy. Shocking, I know, but my family actually does need things other than Disney GCs.

I haven't done it but agree it should work since you get your receipt in email from the online purchase vs an in store receipt.

Although I have to say tried it with this offer and I rather loved it. Used a first time offer to get $10 off and stacked with Amex offer so $60 of groceries for $40 and everything was priced pretty close to what I'd pay at Smart and Final and Target. Didn't order perishables, but will next trip (drive up and have my groceries meet me = there will be a next time). There's an offer to refer someone and they get $10 off their first order and I'll get $10 off after they order so I'll do that with a fam member. I won't order produce though because I'm incredibly picky and trust nobody to be able to pick out produce as well as I can ;)

Did the Amex offer track immediately? I did this 2 days ago and still haven’t received the email (i usually get it right away)

UPDATE: I had to open a ticket. My purchase had not tracked, but they manually credited the $20. They explained that this can happen when you make a purchase immediately after linking the card.

Ok so I did the Sam’s club membership and my order was cancelled :mad: They let the membership go through though. Anyone else have this issue? I don’t want this membership if it won’t accept the $45 off.

I don't understand what you're saying. The $45 comes off from an in-store purchase not on the actual sale of the membership.

Also this offer may now be expired as it was first reported on February 23, 2019

Wells Fargo has 40% back at Old Navy up to $40. My Old Navy has third party gift cards. They don’t have Disney but they do have Southwest and Shell. I’m going to buy a GameStop gift card and see if I can buy an ebay gift card with it.
 
I made the purchase online and it did give me the credit. But then my order was cancelled.

The offer is on and off.

But the $45 is off another purchase. So maybe it got cancelled when they realized it was taken off the membership.

sorry maybe I’m not being clear. Those were separate transactions. I bought the membership through the active link, then went to make a purchase online with the code (it was automatically applied). I made sure to purchase items that were eligible and totalling more than $45 and it showed my discount spread out over each of the eligible items.

I just did the online chat for Sam’s and the rep couldn’t figure out what happened. He said he passed along my info and someone would contact me so who knows. I’ll try calling tomorrow I guess.

That offer was filled with issues. I had to finally just get a gift card in the store. It was a pain. Tried several times to use it at a register.

The weird part is my transaction went through just fine, that’s my confirmation email above. Charge went through on my card and everything. But it was set to arrive today and when it didnt I popped online to check the status and the order said cancelled. So they cancelled my order after the transaction was complete and I had a confirmation email.

The $45 savings was not for online orders but through their app. When you take your first trip to the store, use the app and spend at least $45, that amount will immediately be deducted from your bill. The app, incidentally, lets you scan items as you put them in your cart, then breeze right out the door, no waiting in line at the checkout. I'm thinking this is why your order was cancelled. Funny how the rep didn't know better.

It's not a total loss. You could easily go into the store and speak to CS. Maybe even wait until you hear back.
