$25 DGCs are back in stock at BJ's this morning!
I had about $20 worth of groceries and then about $200 in gift cards because I was also buying some of the other ones. So the cashier voided it off, paid and closed that transaction then tried to do the Happy card alone and it still didn't work, so they did it manually. I was in self checkout and they had to call me up to their main register to do it... then I felt bad because I still had a card I wanted to do separately, to use the 15% off at supermarkets AMEX offer I had on a card.Did you buy any groceries? Or just the gift card? I only had gift cards and the wording says “$10 off grocery purchase.”
There goes that theory!I had about $20 worth of groceries and then about $200 in gift cards because I was also buying some of the other ones. Rather than scratching the security codes, I saw a tip that changed my life! Use another gift card's edge to peel back the entire sticky strip. This helps me speed up the process a bit. It's going to be a part-time job combining all of those $25 gift cards in disneygiftcard.com but I guess it's worth the 10% off. Yikes!
WOW, I'll give it a try. Thx !Rather than scratching the security codes, I saw a tip that changed my life! Use another gift card's edge to peel back the entire sticky strip. This helps me speed up the process a bit.
This is possibly the best tip I got from this threadRather than scratching the security codes, I saw a tip that changed my life! Use another gift card's edge to peel back the entire sticky strip. This helps me speed up the process a bit.
Then I put a strip of tape over it so isn't sticky, I keep all of my cards. So quick and easy.Rather than scratching the security codes, I saw a tip that changed my life! Use another gift card's edge to peel back the entire sticky strip. This helps me speed up the process a bit.
Love this! I usually peel off the sticker too but hadn’t thought of using another card to make it easier. Thanks!Rather than scratching the security codes, I saw a tip that changed my life! Use another gift card's edge to peel back the entire sticky strip. This helps me speed up the process a bit.
Amazing. I’m going to put tape on mine when I get home! Then I put a strip of tape over it so isn't sticky, I keep all of my cards. So quick and easy.

I kept every single card for the very first trip I paid in all GCs and tossed them when I got back. This reminds me that I meant to ask here how long people keep the cards once the balance has been transferred to another card. I just combined a ton of cards and paid for our resort reservation for our December trip -- my thought was that I would keep all of the cards until after our trip (why I don't know exactly but it seems like a good idea) but then once the trip is over I would assume there would be no need to keep all those cards?
When isn't it these days?! Tried a non gift card purchase for something I actually needed, Chase Pay errored out, item they said was in stock in store that day is being shipped sometime next week and icing on the cake I got locked out of my Chase accounts because my attempt at Chase Pay at Walmart triggered online fraud alert that my entire Chase account was potentially compromised! Sorted now but... #ThanksWalmart
