Disney Gift Card Deals

After seeing someone else here try it I bought a $200 Visa gift card (the silver one, my Staples doesn't carry any cards higher) at Staples using my Amex 10% off and immediately went to Best Buy and used it for 4 $50 Disney gift cards paired with Swagbucks. Worked beautifully, got the email from amex saying if my purchase was eligible I'll see my cashback. Everyone else is seeing so I expect it as well.

Our Staples carries Target gift cards for anyone interested in scoring some extra savings on normal Target purchases (in case you were out on vacay recently- Target no longer allows gift card to gift card transactions AT ALL).

Lucky you! We did not get this offer :worried:

I know you all will understand my excitement. I have the DOSH app and this weekend they are offering 8% cash back at Sam's club with a limit of $15 per 24 hour period. I bought one of the 3-$50 packs today so my cash back on it through the app was $11.60. Every now and again they offer you the opportunity to multiply your cash back if you share you your earnings on Facebook. Well today I got a multiplier of 4.8 which brought my cash back to $55.68! Not too shabby!!

Thanks! I have $10 and figure I’ll use it towards a fast food gift card for the drive down :)

In the fine tune of Buffalo Springfield

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's my man pumping gas over there
Telling me I got to beware

I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

I keep track of my fuel points at Kroger. According to my last Kroger receipt I had 409 points which matched my Kroger account and my personal excel spreadsheet. We went to get our last refill expecting $0.40 off per gallon to our surprise we got $1.00 off :confused3

Nope, not complaining. This has happened a few times not sure if it's a glitch but I'll take it. ::yes::

I meant to hit Kroger today and finish the last bit of my 5% back on my Discover with Visa gift cards. Didnt happen between my grandpa being in town visiting (obviously more important) and some other stuff that came up. Not to concerned, but a hair frustrated I will finish the month with 1599 fuel points :badpc:

Do those free 50 point surveys! When I did them every Sunday what I noticed was the amazing best customer bonus coupons I received. Not saying it's a slam dunk but since I stopped I no longer receive them.

Staples sells $300 Visa gift cards online for $308.95 which is better than the $200 ones which cost $206.95. Just realize that it will take a around a week for them to ship it to you.

Also, Staples does have sales on the visa gift card where they will waive the activation fees. They did this last the 2nd week in May, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again in the next few weeks.

However, they do not seem to enforce their limit of 1 per customer and the Visa gift cards are very popular when they go on sale at Staples since Chase ink cards earn 5 points at Office Supplies stores, so unless you run in at the beginning of the sale there is a good chance there won't be any left in store. Many people hide the cards in advance of the sale somewhere in the store to make sure they can get them.

I may have overlooked this already being discussed, but has anyone confirmed that if you buy $25 worth of merchandise at target along with a $25 DGC and pay using a $25 Target GC plus $25 in a different payment form (cash, red card, etc) will the register accept it?

Yes it will work. The $25 Target GC will apply to the merchandise. Just know the red card discount only applies to the amount that the card is being used on.

Yes, you can do that. But what is the point? You get your "stuff" for free but end up paying OOP for the GC. Why not just purchase the Disney GC somewhere that gets you cashback or some other reward? What am I missing with this strategy?

I already shop at target - so if I am already buying $25+ worth of merchandise than for me I am still getting the gc for free. I am not spending any additional $$ OOP. (I am using rewards GC from SB, bing, etc)

It’ll just mean I have to be more aware of how much I am spending since I won’t have the convenience of running in and just purchasing a DGC with a target GC

I thought you could use eBay bucks to buy a gift card, but I'm getting an error message when I try. (I know you can't use an eBay gift card to buy a gift card.) Has anyone else tried this lately?
Nevermind, just got it to work on a gas gift card.
