Disney Gift Card Deals

Just to clarify, with the $15 bonus for $150 GC purchase, you buy a $150 BB gift card (not Disney) and then turn around and buy Disney GCs with the $150+$15 BB GCs?

Yes its actually an "E-gift card" offer and once you purchase it, it will be emailed to the address you put use. From there you can print it out or just use your phone when you go into the store to get the Disney Gift Card. Like I said I usually wait until I receive the promo, everything is on my phone and they scan all of it in one simple transaction. I get the loadable Disney Gift Card. EASY!

Is Best Buy a store where you give the cashier your gift card to swipe? Or is it one you swipe yourself? I've got a $25 physical GC from last Christmas and I want to try it first before I think about buying any BB GCs. I just like to look like I know what I'm doing when buying GCs with GCs :)

Check your Kroger coupons. I have one that saves $5 on a $50 Visa or MasterCard gift card. Expires 11/11. I'm a little confused though - my coupon says "5X SATURDAY ONLY offer," yet the coupon appears to be active already. And the fine print doesn't say that the 5x is only good on Saturday???

Can someone tell me where / how they got this coupon?! I don't see it in my weekly flyer or in my account. Maybe it's a regional thing?

You swipe physical cards.

I'd note that a lot of Best Buy gift card deals are for eGift cards, so you'd just present the barcodes to the cashier to scan and the cashier will need the 4-digit PIN to type into the register.

What I do is, before I go into a store, I'll open the link to each eGift card on my phone, then take a screenshot of each eGift card, which goes into a photo album. When I'm in line at checkout, I'll open up my Shopkicks app to the QR code, and I'll open up my photo album to the screenshots of the eGift cards. When the cashier asks if I have a Best Buy Rewards number, I'll say no (even though I do, because you don't earn Rewards points on purchases paid for with gift cards), but say I have this, then present the Shopkicks QR code for the cashier to scan so you can earn kicks towards more gift cards. Then when the cashier rings up the total amount, I'll say I also have these, and present the cashier with the first of my eGC screenshots for him to scan the barcode, then read the PIN to him to help speed up the process, then swipe my phone to the next screenshot and tell the cashier I have a few more, and repeat. In store, I believe the registers can handle up to 10 or 15 gift cards, certificates, savings codes.

Thanks for all the detail! If they don't give me any trouble I might be doing the current promo since it's looking like I'll need more Disney than I was planning over the next few months.

This is exactly what I️ do (dang broken autocorrect)!!! Much smoother and faster this way!

Have a feeling this coupon is gonna be a pain. My coupon T&C's says . . . Limit one coupon per household redeemable up to five (5) times in one transaction.

Taking a screen shot now.

Mine says good up to 5 times in a single transaction...SO, we should be able to buy (5) $50 gift cards and save $5 on each one, right? The language seems clear to me. I guess I'll screenshot also just in case.

For those who have done the BB deal....Can my DH do the deal using the same CC and BB account I used? When we go to redeem the bonus cards, can we use 6 + in one transaction or will we need to do seperate transactions? Thanks!

So the good news is, I easily bought a Disney GC with my Best Buy GC yesterday.

The bad news is, my Target self checkout still wants the access code punched in by the team member for their GCs. Last time I had them on my phone in the app, this time I printed the paper copies to take with me. This is a pain anyways, but will be even more of a pain IF Target does their 10% off again and IF we can continue to buy Target GCs with GCs...

So I use self checkout, go to the app and scan the gift card. Below the bar code it says "Due to security requirements, we need to email you the access code for this gift card." But it scans with the gun so I never request it???

Weird. That's what mine says too, but the machine calls the attendant over to type in the access code.

So I'm looking to cash out my Swagbucks for either Target or Best Buy gift cards. Can I buy a Disney GC with a BB or Target GC? Want to make sure before I waste the points.

I would cash them in for a Walmart gift card and buy them at Sam's Club - $142.98 for a 3-pack of $50 gift cards. I don't have a membership so I went shopping with a friend that did. If you have money left over in the gift card you can still use it at Walmart and not get stuck with a Sam's Club gift card you won't use.

Anyone have an insight as to when the next Kroger 4x fuel points deal is going to happen?

We actually don't have either of those by me. The closest is 90 mins away and it's not worth the gas and tolls for me to go out there. BB and Target are the closest. So I'm trying to go for one of those first.

Got it! There are a ton of discussions on another thread (either "I love Credit Cards" or "Disney Gift card deals") about this same question. Target does not consider Disney gc actual gift cards, but "entertainment cards" so it is possible to buy Disney GC with Target GC but sometimes individual employees/managers/stores will make an issue out of it. I don't know it it's doable at Best Buy. I say go do a search in either of those threads and you will learn more than you will ever want to about purchasing Disney "entertainment cards" with store gift cards.

I think he needs to use a different cc and email address. I think it's limited to three $150 cards per user.
