I've read on here that some have gotten a phone call from DVC which gave them a $25 gift card, does anyone know how I can go about signing up for this?

When I had called in they said it was because I had booked a trip last year and had booked another trip already for 2018. They said it's a limited offer and not everyone gets it.

Not sure how many Safeway/Albertsons shoppers on this thread but they are offering a $10 coupon off a future shopping trip of $25 or more when you purchase $50 or more in select gift cards. MasterCard is included. Expires April 18. Used my Amex BCP for 6% which helps cover part of the service fee. Ended up with a 16.7% discount Or, Chase Freedom has grocery stores as a 5% category bonus this quarter.

Was this in the weekly ad? I don't see this offer in my ad but if it's just signage at the store, I may pop in and get some gift cards.

It was in my weekly ad in the Portland, OR area. There was also signage at the store.

We applied for the SW RR card and with a $2000 purchase in the first 3 months, you get 50,000 bonus pts. So...I went online to Sams Club and purchased $2250 worth of Disney gift cards for $2160. This means we saved money on the Disney gift cards and we get to fly free!! That's a total savings of approximately $800.

Finally ordered Disney GCs thru BJs with my Discover. Mrrebates went up to 3% so that helped a little more

Can someone tell me when reward dollars show up on your account for the Amex Blue Preferred card? My second billing period just closed and I thought I'd get the reward dollars from my first billing period by now.

They show up pretty prominently on your homepage. I called Amex last year when I was expecting my sign up bonus and earned rewards after opening my account ( same situation as yours) . They explained how the rewards were calculated,I don't remember the details,but remember they showed up a month later than I expected.

When you log on, it should be posted right on the right side...the dollars should post the day after your 2nd statement cuts. Those would be the dollars you earned from your first statement as Amex is always a cycle behind with posting.

Can Target gift cards still be used to purchase Disney gift cards in store? I have used my Redcard recently to save 5%, but if I can save even a bit more, it would be worth it. I have my whole trip to pay for in the next few months. I also have a BJs membership, but the savings here appears to be less than or equal to the Redcard.

If you keep an eye out on the gift card re-seller websites you can catch them for over 5% off. I tend to see them for 6.5% off.

BJ’s wholesale club online for 5% off for $95 for a $100 card
Mr. Rebates: 3% cash back=$2.85
1% back from my credit card = $0.95
Total of $91.19 for $100 card. A savings of 8.8%

We don't have Kroger and i don't have an AmEx (and I already have more cards than I need). Seems like this it the best it's going to be right now. I wish Chase Freedom would do another 5% bonus on wholesale clubs then that would really boost buying from BJs. I maxed out last time.

I definitely have more credit cards than I need, but it is sure nice to have multiple options to be able to take advantage of deals when they come up.

Some people have been getting some deals with their AmEx. I'm not sure what. I sort of skim past those since I don't have one. I was just ruling out other possible deals that I myself could participate in.
