Cardpool... Holy cow. Have any of you googled reviews of this site? I was considering trying them, since 6.5% and 5% is a great start no matter what you get on your charge card... but wow. It is negative review after negative review -- cards that don't work, customer service that cant be reached, emails that don't arrive. You all have tried this, and it's gone okay?
It's likely cards from DD or Starbucks.... I had problems with them using Raise. As for customer service, I can see how there'd be complaints. The person who called me to verify my first purchase sounded like they worked out of their house! And it took me several tries to get a real person, I didn't want to leave a message and start playing phone tag.

I buy mostly small amounts of the egift target cards. If there's a bad GC, I'm not out much.

I find that with most things, people are far more likely to voice a negative opinion than a positive one. People will run to post a negative review but if everything works out just fine it's business as usual and they move on to the next thing. I'm guilty of this like everyone.

Paypal Debit... Would cardpool take any credit card or does it have to be debit? I get more points by charging elsewhere.

When I use any rebate site, I use the rebates for our vacations. I always cash out those rebates to PayPal. I used to just transfer the money to our bank account and use it to pay off whatever credit card I'd used for the charges, which was usually the Disney Visa. Then I decided just to get the PayPal debit card. It saves me a step and I know how much I have to spend on vacations. As long as I have a transaction process as a "credit" (i.e. I do not enter my PIN number), then I earn a 1% rebate back on the purchase. Typically, I move the money from our vacation account at Ally (which earns 0.8% interest) over to my PayPal account right before we need it. Then I earn another 1% on it when I decide to spend it. I also like that I can just go on the app and see exactly how much I've spent and how much I have left.

I apologize if this has been answered previously, but I'm wondering how many gift cards can you use on the WDW site to purchase an AP? I have my Disney Reward Card from my Visa plus I've been collecting gift cards at Target. I plan to purchase an AP voucher in July or August so I can book my FP+. Just curious if I'm going to be limited to the number of Gift Cards I can use.

I'm sorry, I'm sure this has been discussed but I can't find anything......Can we use disney giftcards for CS meals? TIA!

Not possible online. On the phone, it's mixed results. Some people have called the main ticketing number and gotten a CM who's willing to take multiple (10+) GC. Others have reported max of 3+1 cc. If you can't get someone, I suggest opening a Disney Savings account.

Yes! You get 1 receipt per gift card. So if your meals $52 dollars and you give them 2 - $50 GC, you get 2 separate "transactions".

whoops! I was going to comment but realized afterwards it's for an ap not a package. Sorry!:guilty:

Congrats! I've been too lazy to get TopCashBack, but perhaps I'll sign up today.

I did try the "add stuff to your cart" then leave thing. It took a few days, but Cardpool did send me a coupon for 5% off, up to $10 discount. Worth a try! Also, you don't have to look for large denomination cards, you can combine everything on the phone app so it really doesn't matter if you get 10 cards or 2....tho it is a pain in the butt to input 10 cards on my phone :goodvibes

Just wanted to say thanks!! I added a target gift card to my cart yesterday and left it. When I checked my email this morning I had a 5% off code from them! I got 87.19 in gc's for 77.44 , so I will combine that with my left over target gift certificate balance I have from my rewards sites and get $100 in disney gift cards.
:thanks:

The rebate for going through topcashback was showing in my account within a few hours so $1.74 back there and I used my Paypal debit card for 0.77 cash back.

$74.93 for $100 disney gift card..not bad!

I just checked my account and I have placed 17 orders for target gift cards on carpool and all have been fine!

I got a call from a Cardpool representative today, asking a few simple questions to verify my order. She asked for my home (billing) address and the nearest major cross street. Then she verified my phone number and said that my code would be in my inbox by the end of the day. It was there in a few hours. I combined the codes in my Target app and already ordered my new Disney gift cards:worship:!

I think I have a new addictiono_O

I beat my deal!:P

I had a PetSmart gift card in my Cardpool cart that I forgot about:oops:...lo and behold, I got the 5% coupon today:yay:. So, I added $270 worth of Target cards which I can combine with the $15 I have in "free with purchase" cards that I got last week to buy $300 in Disney cards. I didn't have enough left in the PayPal account so I had to put it on my Disney Visa (same 1% though) so here's the breakdown...
1) PAID $242.43 for $270 worth of Target cards (I only got the 5% off of the first $200 since it was a max discount of $10)
2) Went through TopCashBack to earn a 2% rebate on the $270 ($5.40)
3) Earn 1% back in Disney Visa Rewards, basically cash at WDW:flower3: ($2.42)

Final total.....$234.61 for $300 in Disney money...22% savings:worship:

That is awesome!

Just to report back about the Cardpool promo code that I posted about in another thread a few days ago - I haven't received any more offers since then :(

Maybe they only do it so often? I must have originally done it last Friday and got the promo a day or two later. Haven't received one since. Oh well. Maybe in the future if I ignore the site for a bit. Let me know if any of you receive different results.

Well guys, I pulled the trigger and tried it, and it seems to have worked fine. So big thanks to Turk, Nal, Kristen and everyone else. :) I bought $400 worth of Disney.. $380 via red card, paid $334.40, got the extra 5% off due to waiting ($10) and had $22 in Target cards already, so from my POV that's $400 in Disney expense paid down via $324 spent today (and $22 in cards sitting around). Got the points on my cc too. When I get the cards, I'll throw that $400 into my DVA and get another 2% rebate ($8) later.
:dogdance:

EDIT: Looks like the 6.5% is gone. Only 4% now. :(

Can someone tell me how they combined gift cards on the mobile site? I have a bunch of $10 cards. I put them into the mobile site, but now what? I'm trying to check out, but I don't see the cards anywhere. How do I access them?

If you're talking about the target app and combining target gc, just click on a gc on your phone app. The option "Combine" will pop up. Then you select which ones to combine.

Do the Target GC's need to be combined before purchasing Disney GC's on the Target website?
