$300 Disney GC purchase today with Target GC in Nebraska with no issues. Self checkout. Have another $300 in Target GC I'll convert tomorrow as I only had 1 of the Target GC with me at the store today.

Man -I'm kicking myself now. I didn't want to get too crazy with the Target GCs in case something went wrong so we stopped at $600 yesterday. Bought the $600 in Disney GCs no issue in a matter of 30 seconds this evening. I should've bought another $1,200 yesterday. Even if it hadn't worked I probably could've used the Target GCs within a year or 2.

We stopped at $1900, and now I wish I had gotten a couple hundred more. But I got nervous as well.

Converted $1200 today (two transactions of $600 each) without any problems at all. The second cashier looked at the cards and said "So smart! Can you use these to buy tickets?" Then she said she needed to go purchase some for her family.

Don't scratch, peel! You can just pull off the silver scratchy part.
I do peel the Target ones since they come off easily. I find the ones from Kroger and Sams dont pull off as well so I scratch them.

I bought a $100 visa gc at Kroger today with the $10 off digital coupon. It says one time use, but the coupon is still there listed in my app. ???

It does depend on which ones they are. For the ones that don't peel, I enlist some child labor. My DD could scratch all day!

I just converted $1800 tonight in 3 transactions between myself and hubby. 1 at self checkout, the other two with cashiers. I always look for a younger, preferably male cashier. My husband of course got the crotchety cashier who insisted he couldn't be doing any of that and it wouldn't work. Of course it did, but not before giving him a hard time.

Spending (and saving) money is so fun.

No problem here in SoCal land either. I was able to purchase $900 (3 separate $300 transactions on the self checkout). My local store had $100 GC this time around. This is much easier when compared to last year's Disney $25x2 and you get $5 Target GC deal. Nothing like trying to combine 40 $25 GC into one $1K one to pay for DVC dues.

Does someone mind signing into their Sam's club account and looking up the prices for the $500 and $150 GCs please? I am thinking of becoming a member but cannot see the prices online. Last I saw they were about 5% off but I wanted to see if anything changed!

Also - has anyone been able to successfully use the Discover 5% cash back category on GCs at Sam's? Worried that GCs are excluded from that deal!!

TIA!

Bought $2400 yesterday, today turned it into Disney GC's..
$900 Woburn MA $1500 Wilmington MA. Lucky enough to find 20 $100's
All purchases in $300 increments at my request, neither employee batted an eye.
both stores had the self checkout lanes closed.
