Did you guys get your email from Amex thanking you for using the offer? I know they send them really quickly after the card was used and curious if this was true for this offer too.

Yup. I got that email by the time I got to my car in the parking lot. I'm guessing the actual statement credit will take a few days to post.

Buying physical gift cards at Best Buy to meet the spend requirement on the Amex offer shouldn't be a problem. When Amex and Best Buy had the same deal over the summer, my wife and I also spent it on Disney gift cards and were credited. I believe you just can't use the offer to buy electronic and "corporate" gift cards.

I haven't yet, but I haven't spent the entire $250 so I wasn't expecting it. Like @Lain I usually get the email as I'm walking out of the store. I've taken advantage of a couple of Amex ->Best Buy offers in the past buying gift cards and never had a problem.

They do at my BJ's. I don't buy them there because I get a better discount at Target. Bj's charges 147.99 for $150 worth of Disney cards. Getting them at Target with a RedCard is $142.50.

My BJ's sells them, too. The $150 pack is the worst value, however. The $100 card is $95.99 and the $50 card is $47.99. Three $50 cards would run you $143.97. If you have a Chase Freedom card, you'd earn 5% this quarter on that $143.97 or another $7.20 back. The quarterly bonus on the Freedom Card caps out after $1500 in purchases.

You'll have the scan the barcode on the actual Disney gift card to activate it. You should only have to scan that one barcode to both add it to your checkout and activate it. It helps to use the scanner gun located on the side of the self checkout terminal. And yes, you can click finish and pay, click gift card as the form of payment, and use the scanner gun to scan the Target gift card(s) off your phone. You'll need to click "gift card" on the checkout screen for every card you use (after using one up).

Sadly I got no offers on either of my two Amex cards. Congrats to any of you who got them, or multiple offers.

One question I have for anyone with more Gamestop experience than I have (I never churned through them): Can you still buy GC with a GC for things that aren't Ebay/Paypal/etc? It irritates me that I don't earn at least 5x on my monthly Netflix subscription. I know Officemax does/did have GS gc's (but doesn't have Netflix) so I am thinking I can get them there and turn it into Netflix at GS.

Seriously small beans compared to the golden days but hey, it's a few more Ultimate Rewards to add to my stash. I just booked 5 nights at the Royal Hawaiian for free with my SPG points acquired from my most recent round of CC churning. DH and I are going to Oahu for our tenth anniversary this year almost entirely covered by miles and points from various programs. (Confession: I've never been to Hawaii and am having mixed feelings about a non-WDW vacation )

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet but Giant Eagle is running a sale on gift cards with their fuelperks (gas points) as the benefit. Disney gift cards are on the list. Currently doubling points to 20 cents/gallon up to 30 gallons per $50 of gift cards purchased online only. Points are redeemable at Getgo stations with your Giant Eagle Advantage card. I know that's a pretty narrow audience but for those of us in that area it means I can buy a $500 Disney card and get $60 off at the gas station. Cards must be purchased by 11/16/16; redeemable for (I think) 3 months. Many other cards are also available but I know you all are interested in the Disney ones.

I haven't stepped foot into a GS since they killed churning for eBay GCs so I can't speak to recent policy.

But why don't you sign up for Netflix through iTunes, then pay for your subscription using iTunes gift cards purchased at a discount? iTunes gift cards go on sale much more frequently than Netflix gift cards, and at better discounts. PPDG and Costco seems to have sales on iTunes gift cards at 15% off once or twice a month, and iTunes cards occasionally sell for 20% off, and up to 25% off on Black Friday and around the holidays. I don't know how 15-25% off compares to 5x points, but it's a nice upfront discount. I follow http://www.twitter.com/itunescarddeals, who posts iTunes gift card deals.

P.S. It shouldn't matter if you don't have an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, since iTunes is available on Mac and PC.

I think Kroger has a 4x fuel points on gift cards digital coupon good for this weekend. I may get some target gift cards and hope I can buy a gift card with a gift card on 12/4.

Don't know if your comment had anything to do with the BJ's/Amex promo but it is only valid for "in-club" purchases.

My app didn't have the Kroger 4x fuel points digital coupon. Then I read on a coupon site to change your home store to zip code 25177. I tried that and the digital coupon popped right up. Hopefully it will work here in Ohio too.
