My account had 3 separate coupons . . . One for Visa/MC gift cards, one for Amex gift cards, and one general 4x coupon.

Same here--Kroger Mid-Atlantic. Plus my store actually had a sign up when you walked in.

I definitely do not have the general one and only a sign for the MC/Visa cards. I shop at King Soopers (Kroger chain) but we normally have the same GC promos as Kroger. Hopefully, my stores aren't decreasing the amount of promos they are doing.

I agree. I believe that it is for things in their featured deal category - but it's kind of pot luck to figure out what it includes.

I know I can no longer use Target GC online to buy Disney Gift Cards but have they stopped allowing this in store? I have some Target GC I want to use up and I don't usually shop there - only buy Disney GC there.

Raise .com is a gift card reseller. Raise sells at a discount gift cards that other people don't want/want to sell. Occasionally, the discount is enough that it makes sense to buy discounted gift cards to stores that allow using their gift cards to purchase third-party gift cards like Disney. This code is one such deal that could ultimately save you money buying Disney gift cards. However, it appears to only be available to new accounts. When you set up an account on Raise, they will actually make you verify your name, address, credit card info, etc., so (re-)using this code may not be as simple as setting up multiple accounts with different emails.

If you have any ebay cards, you have 5 more days to use them to buy gift cards on ebay. There have been several WalMart and Best Buy cards sold there by individuals for less than full price, but you have to be quick - they go fast.

I had 2 more Walgreens cards that I decided to use today, and because of the looming deadline on ebay, I decided to buy Best Buy cards. I would have preferred Wal-Mart or Sams, but they didn't carry them. I opted for Best Buy, since there is a chance that I could get shopkicks or SB from using them.

I still have to figure out what to do with my Sears and Gamestop cards, but otherwise, I am sticking mostly to Target and Sams/WalMart, since I can get those cards almost free.

You can still redeem GS GCs for Starbucks and restaurant cards, and YMMV with gas and Southwest cards.

So sorry! It IS a PITA!

Last week I bought 11 $50 Disney GCs *in store* from Target, and one of them didn't work. When I called Disney Gift Cards, the GC number wasn't even a valid number in their system! The PIN was valid, but for a different card. I had to take pictures of my receipt and ALL the GCs I had purchased. Guest service was great and it was resolved in about a day. But the phone CM was very perplexed as to how that happened...

If there is one major lesson I have learned in all of this, it is to keep excellent records and all receipts until the GC is spent.

I just bought Disney GC a day ago with Target GC. Worked just as it always has!

Meijer has an mperk $10/$50 or more in Mastercard gift cards. There is a $4.95 activation fee so you end up with $50 for $44.95 limit one per mperk but if you have access to multiple accounts you can buy more in separate transactions.

The Target employee who came over to void it said it was because you can't buy a GC with a GC. I didn't have time to press the issue, so I don't know if that was indeed the problem, if it was a problem with the Shopkick app, or something else entirely. At any rate, just thought I'd pass along.

A lot of sales people are convinced that you can't get a GC with a GC, even when it isn't so. I had someone at Walgreens yesterday say that when my GC wouldn't scan, but when we typed in the #, it went through fine.

Be sure to check on Target.com to make sure that the card was activated. If it was, then next time you are in Target, try using it at a regular line, or at the courtesy booth, if that line is shorter.

Are you sure you scanned the correct barcode on the target gift card?

I've done this. There are 2 barcodes on the back, and the one I thought should have been the correct barcode wasn't. Holding your finger over the incorrect bar code (while obviously not covering any of the correct code) solved the problem.
