Walgreens disappointment in Oregon. Went to 2 different Walgreens with red gift card to try to get eBay and was unsuccessful. One store I had used before and one new one. Would not scan. Cashier tried putting in manually, did not work.

So it sounds like it's a problem with the gift card and not that you couldn't use a gift card to pay for a gift card? I'm in the Portland area and plan to hit a Walgreens today to convert my Walgreens to eBay.

How much were you trying to put on the eBay card in one transaction? People have reported that their WGCs would not apply when they tried $500 on one or multiple cards in one transaction; anything less seems to work.

Agreed that there have been reports of "bad" cards. I redeemed $600 in WGC at several stores on Wednesday and Thursday in N. California with no problems. @Eighty8Keys, we'd all appreciate it if you report back!

In my digital Kroger coupon list I'm seeing that you can buy a Visa gift card for 4x fuel points. It doesn't apply to the variable amt card, just fixed 25, 50, or 100. Anyone know what the fee is per card?

I looked at the $100 Visa and the $100 MasterCard at Kroger today. Each had a $5.95 fee. Steep!

Is this a recent change? I bought Disney gcs online with Target gcs but had my Target card as the defult payment and got the 5% off the total.

OMG..I just got screwed..I spoke to Target Guest relations...I am sitting on target gift cards for which I paid $689.19. They won't process Disney gift cards with a target gift card online, anymore. I am not sure what to do other than sell back some of the Target gift cards at a loss and move on..I asked if there was anything that corporate would do for me and there was nothing...they didn't notify anyone, especially their red card holders, etc. I think it is terrible. I don't know what to do...I purchased the cards and the orders went through and then 10 minutes later I rcvd the emails that my orders were cancelled.

Yes. Loading them into your Target account/app will give you a barcode that can be scanned in store.

I just came back from Target in Texas and it wouldn't work to buy a Disney card with a Target gift card at a cashier or self checkout.

Not sure where you are, Tinkerbellcrafter, but you might want to try in store first because I am in Phoenix and it worked for me in store. I used the self checkout we just had installed.
