I don't see the promo on DH or my account. I'm so sad. I actually have a bunch of things to purchase for the company I work for and was hoping for a promo before I bought them .

Hmmmm....so in an attempt to avoid PPDG, I'm thinking I should take my $100 in Target cards and buy a $100 eBay card with them. Then, I will have a total of $200 in eBay cards that I can use to get $200 in Walgreen's from SVM. I'll have to pay the $4 in shipping but I will earn $16 in eBucks. My only fear is losing GC->GC ability at Walgreens and getting stuck with $400 in Walgreen's GC's. I feel much "safer" using BB gift cards, but I don't want too much going through PPDG. Decisionf, decisions...

I got the 8 percent on $150+ on one account and it registered $16 on a purchase of two $100 Best Buy gift cards.

Basically means that if you can get a 5x ebucks promo each month and can churn $1000 through each time, then you could only earn $300 in eBucks from gift cards each quarter. The rest would have to be spent in cash.

This stinks, rather limiting, but thank you for sharing this!
So, are you saying, to get the most you can from spending $1000 each month, you need to only do the 5x promos? If you did a 4x promo, wouldn't you be limited to $240 for spending the $1000 each of the three months of the promo?
Also is it limited per eBay account or per Paypal account?

Beware that NGC has been getting bad feedback for CC companys charging cash advance fees on gc purchases. I just bought a $250 Gamestop gc and put shipping charge on bank acct.

I spent my eBay bucks last week and got the offer. Definitely possible.

I don't know about this one. With the new limitations and closing loopholes, I'm really thinking of sticking to just 5x bonuses...

Agreed. None of the 3 accounts in my family have spent their eBay Bucks yet - no promo on any of the 3.

I don't think I understand here. Are you saying you bought a GameStop gift card and your credit card company added a cash advance fee under the guise of a shipping fee?

My husband and I got the offer and had spent our ebucks already. My daughter didn't spend hers yet and didn't spend her ebucks yet, definitely see a pattern!

I definitely think there is a pattern to the offer. You may not get the offer even if you spent you ebucks, just like sometime you just may not get it. But I'd be curious if there is anyone who got the offer that still had their ebucks. I got the offer, spent the ebucks weeks ago. DH did not, spent his Monday.

So I place my order for some Best Buy and some Kmart, just enough of each to get 8% back. Jumped over to BestBuy.com and I see $50 ebay GC are not available and there are no $25 GC within 250 miles of me. Hmmmm. I don't like that.

With the new Ebay restrictions and Gamestop transactions seemingly coming to a close, I decided to cash everything out back to Best Buy to convert to Disney with 8% today. I'm still going to purchase GC out of pocket when ebay has the "buy $x get $x off" sales, but I'm finished with GC > GC > GC churning for now.

I just saw this bad news for those churning through eBay:

You can only use $2,000 in eBay gift cards every 60 days per account. So a limit of $12,000 in gift cards per year.

Also, the terms say:

10. No more than a total of $1000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per eBay purchase. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers). Do you think the $1000 includes ebucks certificates?
