This stinks, rather limiting, but thank you for sharing this!Basically means that if you can get a 5x ebucks promo each month and can churn $1000 through each time, then you could only earn $300 in eBucks from gift cards each quarter. The rest would have to be spent in cash.
I spent my eBay bucks last week and got the offer. Definitely possible.I bet anyone who didn't spend all their ebucks didn't get the offer. On our account that still has $3 ebucks we didn't get the offer. On our account that we spent all the ebucks we did get the offer. Works out fine for now since we are going slooooooowww, to not get caught with unwanted GC.
Agreed. None of the 3 accounts in my family have spent their eBay Bucks yet - no promo on any of the 3.I bet anyone who didn't spend all their ebucks didn't get the offer. On our account that still has $3 ebucks we didn't get the offer. On our account that we spent all the ebucks we did get the offer. Works out fine for now since we are going slooooooowww, to not get caught with unwanted GC.
I don't think I understand here. Are you saying you bought a GameStop gift card and your credit card company added a cash advance fee under the guise of a shipping fee?Beware that NGC has been getting bad feedback for CC companys charging cash advance fees on gc purchases. I just bought a $250 Gamestop gc and put shipping charge on bank acct.
This makes sense. Oh well. I guess I have some work to do!I bet anyone who didn't spend all their ebucks didn't get the offer. On our account that still has $3 ebucks we didn't get the offer. On our account that we spent all the ebucks we did get the offer. Works out fine for now since we are going slooooooowww, to not get caught with unwanted GC.
Do you think the $1000 includes ebucks certificates?I just saw this bad news for those churning through eBay:

You can only use $2,000 in eBay gift cards every 60 days per account. So a limit of $12,000 in gift cards per year.
Also, the terms say:
10. No more than a total of $1000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per eBay purchase. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers). Restrictions also apply to the purchase of eBay Gift Cards on ebay.com-see our Gift Card Policy for details.
