Disney Gift Card Deals

I thought Cardency's delivery was slow but that's better than not at all. I bought a $50 Walgreen's GC on the buy $75 get $15 off offer. I feel a lot better about using W rather than GS or BB. There's one on every corner and they use a lot of clerks so won't be running into the same peeps all the time. The thing I didn't like was the GC was delivered in an envelope with return address listed as Awards Center, easy to tell it was a GC or CC. Hopefully if you buy 5 x $100's the shipping won't be quite that casual.
Thanks for responding! Yeah, true, plus Cardency shipping is lower than NGC or SVM I think. So far, so good here for GS but who knows, but there are options if needed. But, I'd be all over that Wgc's if that works out! Like you say, they are everywhere and lots of different clerks in one store. Partly just a matter of them realizing the company seems to support the buying gc's with Wgc's, according to the response a previous poster received when contacting Walgreens. Kind of hoping to hear more having good experience at W before a nice promo sale. Do you know, does W have the loadable Ebay gc's, and Disney, or just the specific increments like $50's or $100's?

I did have the two gc's I got, from SVM I think, a Sears(by accident, though I was getting a Lowes card, lol) and a Lowes gc, and they came in an envelope like that with Award Center on it. Almost was gonna toss it, not realizing what it was! GCM shipping does seem a bit safer.

I've used NGC before for the $500 and $250 gift cards and it went great. Got my cards quicker than GCM (I'm in MI, they're in IL, much closer than CO) although no tracking similar to SVM.
Hmm, I'm in northern Illinois, but I thought I noticed an Illinois address on the SVM shipments and it still took over a week to show up. I do like the $500 or even the $250 gc's for a GS, nice to slide less cards for sure!

I didn't get mine either but I got an email from them today saying that it would come saying in the packaging that they were only $60 value but that the actual value would be $100. Thought that was strange. They must have had some processing issues so maybe that's why they're late.

Same! I have ordered from them a few times and also not received my latest order yet. Not worried. I also got the email about the $60 printing should really be $100 value.

Yes the W I went to had loadable eBay and Disney :) the other nice thing is after they ring you up you just swipe the GC, no need to discuss or debate it as the sale is just completed automatically as if you were using a debit or cc.
Yes SVM is in Il, Arlington Heights, I believe. They sell GC for the company I work for so I have absolutely no concerns about them. They would have been vetted up one way and down the other to protect our brand image.

So here's a Sam's Club Question-
I am looking at their Disney Gift Cards that are $475 for a $500 gift card, and I have a Chase Visa with the extra 5% off certain purchases each quarter, and this quarter includes Club Stores like Sam's Club. Does anyone know if I will get the 5% from Chase if I buy the card online? If I order online I can get another 1.5% through Ebates which is why I am considering it...
Is this the freedom visa 5x quarterly promo? If so that isn't an extra 5% off using the card,it's 5x points for purchases (an excellent deal, which I'm using myself, but not the same as 5% discount) And yes, I have gotten the 5x points for online orders in the past....or is there a visa deal for 5% off i missed?

someone remind me please.... I can buy ebay gc using my ebucks, correct? This puts the funds on hold till I want to use them right? any drawbacks to doing this?

Only "drawbacks" that I know of are you won't earn ebucks when you buy the eBay GC (but obviously will when you spend them) and the posters here who have been banned were supposedly told buying gift cards with eBay gift cards is what triggered their PayPal bannings.

This is two separate events. Shopping on PPDG for gift cards with ebay gift cards has been a problem for most people, and some were banned, but that doesn't have to be the next step after receiving ebay gift cards.

If you convert your ebucks to ebay gift cards, you don't earn any ebucks or ebates or probably any other company's rebates. But more important:
-You also have the problem that if you get physical cards, you have to pay postage, and they could be in the mail when the next promotion hits, when something you want to buy is available.
-If you get digital gift cards, you have to deal PPDG, and I don't know how they feel about ebucks.
-You are now taking a single amount and potentially turning it into several smaller amounts, if you can't find a gift card that comes close to the amount of your ebucks certificate. I don't know if ebay has a limit on how many gcs they will accept for a transaction.
-If your certificate is not for a round number, you will still have some ebucks outstanding not on a gift card.

I order during the promo and it just came yesterday. And it was marked $60. I thought it took a long time!

It's the Chase Freedom extra 5%. I've noticed that it truly is an "extra" 5%. So if I was going to get 1%, I'd actually get 6% which is nice. When I ordered from Sam's I paid $950 for $1000 of eBay cards and then I'll get $57 in cash back from Chase so I'll only have paid $893 for $1000. Not that impressive really, when I've gotten entire trips for free by churning, but I needed those GCs fast so it worked out.

Mine is 5% total, not bonus 5%. Last statement I spent $157. I got 157 points + 627 bonus points. That's 5% total so the bonus is 4 percentage points.

...... this is the 5x points offer for the quarter, right? I'm just verifying that we're using a different word to express the same thing, unless I am missing something- I just want to be sure.... I love the 5x offers(max them out if possible) but I don't think of it as a discount, since I apply the points to travel, etc. I think of it more as a bonus.....

Thanks for the clear answer..... I have no interest in getting mired down in ppdg,so I'll shelve that idea.... besides it's never difficult for me to spend ebay money...it's a little too easy!

Hoping mine comes today. I think Cardency takes a long time to process their orders or something cause every time I order from them, it is at least a week, sometimes longer.

@havaneselover - mine show up on the statements as 1% then a separate line for the 5% bonus category, so it does end up being 6%. Between that and the 5% off the price in store/online, it'll be 12% total IF I get credited for the eBates.

@hsmamato2 - yes, I'm talking about the quarterly bonus category, which includes restaurants and club stores this quarter.
Personally, I count it as a discount since I will use the "points" for money off of my credit card bill when I have spent extra on vacation stuff, and since we pay that off monthly there are no extra charges.
