Disney Gift Card Deals

The only payment option was my Redcard. The GC option was not available, not even shown as an option on the page. I backed out, closed out and came back a little bit later, still no option to use a GC. Target is so quirky though it may very well be available now, I just haven't been on the site yet to try.

Next to "payment" there's an "edit" button. When you click "edit," it expands the payment method options to credit or debit (including REDCard), Target GiftCard, or PayPal. Does this help?

Ahhh, what a dope. I did see that but thought it was just to update the cc/debit info. I better start sewing my name and address into my clothes  Thanks!

Something is really weird with the Target website. It didn't recognize

I did the same thing. Can you sew labels in my clothes too?

I used our ebucks on Disney gc's. Bought one $500, a $100, and won the bid at $305.01 for $300 in the last 5 seconds. Before that I got $250 in BB.

No, they are only sold in stores.
I guess that's what I figured but wanted to ask to be sure, thanks for responding!
I'm interested to hear back from others who are planning to check out the Walgreens option. I still have to convert to Ebay before I can try. Really hoping it works with them carrying Disney and Ebay cards there! I'm hopeful with that response PP received of that affirming email. About a week ago whenever it was recently brought back up here, I called my usual Walgreens and asked, when I told him I had a 'friend' who had done it at another Walgreens, he said it should be the same at all Walgreens so I should come in to try it out. I do have access to a number of Walgreens that I can try. Definitely keeping my Mickey ears crossed for this!

Sorry if this has been asked earlier. Does anyone know if Michael's lets you use their giftcards to buy Disney Card?

Thank you!

PPDG may be getting better. Placed a $500 order w them... Paid with a combination of Ebucks and Ebay certs. Did have to verify, but it went thru as expected. No multiple verifications, no lockouts. Received my order ok.
I had no issues with ppdg except having to verify my account ONCE and now have a "limited" account. I haven't dealt with it yet as I am on vacation but we shall see. I hope it is getting better for everyone's sake.

I will be heading to the northeast this weekend, and just bought a gc from PPDG for The Christmas Tree shops, so I can buy vacation supplies. But it got me thinking.... does anyone know if they sell third party gcs?
The Christmas Tree Shoppes here on Cape Cod (and in central Ma.) do not sell gift cards)

Had an interesting email from ebay this morning. My heart sank the first time I read it then I realized they just want me to update my security settings. I've had an ebay account for a long time, but it sat inactive for a few years. I just started using it again in February.

I think I'd be careful with that email. Make sure you don't click the link and that you log into eBay directly and see if it is asking for you to do all those things. Seems fishy to me, but I'm suspicious with an IT guy husband!

Be careful. Go to eBay directly instead of clicking in the email you received. I got one of these about a month ago and was almost duped. I almost clicked before realizing it was a fishing attempt.

I was just going to say the same thing as susan137. It sounds suspicious and I'd recommend avoiding clicking any links in that email but navigating directly to ebay and logging on as usual instead. If it was a "real" ebay communications, I would expect this to be in your Messages folder in ebay as well.

Once I had my ebay account hacked many years ago for clicking a phishing link. They listed a drum set for sale for $7000 with my account. I quickly contacted ebay and it was resolved and I had to change my password of course. But my account was never limited in the process.

That's what I planned on. I scrolled over the links and they match/look legit, but I find it odd that I've been buying GCs on ebay since Feb and they're just now thinking it might look fishy. I did buy $500 GS on the 4th when they had the $100 for $90 to use up my $260 in ebay bucks, but if that prompted the email I would think I would have gotten it closer to the purchasing date. They didn't cancel the order and I actually got the shipping email 15 minutes after I received this one.

Also, you can report the email to ebay by forwarding it to spoof@ebay.com.

Looks like it was legit. Tried to log in and it wouldn't take my old password. I reset it and checked my messages and there was a copy of the same email. I looked around on my account and didn't see any items listed as selling (though I did notice I had an offer to sell 50 items with no fees for this month). Also didn't have any purchases that I didn't purchase myself. Glad it was just them being cautious on their end.

I can't figure out how to seperate my ebay and paypal accounts from my phone. Should I unlink my cc and checking account info from paypal before trying to use my ebucks? Also, are the ebucks attached to the ebay account or paypal? Just wondering if using the ebucks to buy from a non ppdg seller will still be problematic at this point.

Ebucks are attached to eBay but you have to log into PayPal to complete the sale - which PayPal account doesn't matter. I would be highly surprised if they let you use the ebucks with your PayPal limited as it is. I don't think using ebucks on nonppdg will be the issue but checking out with that PayPal account that's been flagged attached might be.

When I unlinked I went under my account settings and just clicked on there's a PayPal section and unlinked from the computer. Not sure where on app but under your account info.
PayPal cc and checking is a separate thing on the PayPal site. They already have that info

What are everyone's thoughts on Ebates and Target? Do you think they will come back to giving cash back for purchases? Do you think if they do start to offer cash back again, the gift card loop will close?

I know we don't have crystal balls. Just curious what everyone is thinking might happen.
