We just got back, and boy we were very surprised, i think we won the disney lotto. we checked in disney saturday at the yacht club for a standard room on cash. the cm told us that there was a last min. construction project and they had reserved us a room at the bcv. i told the cm that i was alittle disappointed because we were looking forward staying at the yacht club, because we havent stayed there yet, but we havent stayed at the bcv either, (the bcv is our home resort) and i guess that would be alright and next time we will stay at the yacht club. the cm told us that our 2 BEDROOM was ready and she would have our luggage shipped over to the bcv right away, then she said the manager would like to speak to us, she came out and said I will send over your conceirge keys soon as possible. i looked at dh and he looked at me and we told each other pinch me, our we dreaming?
we really enjoyed the 2 bedroom and conceirge during our stay.
now i think we will be spoiled and have to stay in a 2bedroom from now on. Thanks Disney!;) ;)

2 bedroom and conceirge - now that is being spoiled.

do you have to walk to the YC to do the conceirge or does BC still have one?

Similar thing happened to me on our last trip. We were bumped to BW and given a gold key.

And actually...this is where we found our "invitation" to come to a DVC presentation.

Hmmmm....they really rigged me in!

we went to the bc conceirge,
breakfast
your basic bagels, muffins, oatmeal, fruit, etc. coffee, tea, juice milk, etc.

lunch
just goldfish crackers, pretzels, gummi worms, snacks like that, i wasnt impressed by lunch snacks

im not sure about what they put out for dinner,
except when we would get there around 9:00 ish they had cakes, cookies, cup cakes, little petite cakes, wine, baileys & cream, kahlula, you would have to ask for the beer.

i know they had more food items to serve but you had to ask for them, we learned this as we watch other people.

if anyone knows if i missed out for dinner food other then i mentioned please let me know, ill keep it in mind for next time.

Golly gee, that sure was your lucky day. Talk about raining Pixie Dust. Glad your stay as Magical. Hope you also bought some lottery tickets on that day.

Isnt concierge just supposed to be continental breaky, snacks and hors douvres? People have dinner there?

Now that was a whole lotta pixie dust!

Dreams really do come true @ WDW!

I have a question....can you add on conceirge to a DVC room? I was reading in the resort boards that for an additional charge you can sometimes add the conceirge services to your room. Is this possible with a DVC room? Thanks

Congrats, wdwstar! I am glad you enjoyed it!

I truly wish this were possible, but the general consensus is that it is not. :(

I believe the concierge idea started that way, but it has evolved. I would not eat a full dinner there, but the types of offerings they lay out suggest it to be somewhat more than a snack. They also have trays, and encourage you to take food to your room.
I can't speak for any other concierge except for the Poly, but they put on quite a spread.

What date did you check in? BC tried to bump us from our reserved studio at BCV on Aug. 5. Just wondering if Yacht & Beach club are using BCV in this manner for more than you guys. We weren't offered any upgrades, though. Diana
