So, my husband and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary in December.
Since it falls so close to the holidays, we've convinced our parents to watch our kids for 4 nights in mid-October so we can celebrate a bit early. We honeymooned in Disney and on the second day, I got the flu... we had to call a local doctor to come to our room at WL because I was so violently ill. NOT GOOD! We're toying with the idea of heading to Disney again - you know, trying the old honeymoon all over again.
I feel bad about the leaving the kids but think Disney could be an entirely different experience for just the two of us (no parent swapping at rides, no dining around naptimes or bedtimes, the ability to experience Pleasure Island, etc.). Since my last "adult" trip turned out rotten, I'd love to hear of what the solo/adult travelers recommend we see/do and tell me some stories to help me convince DH that Disney can be a very "adult" place too!
