Close-up of the arancini. This is a fried saffron risotto ball filled with mozzarella and meat ragu. So good!
DH's pepperoni pizza. He liked it.
My pizza: Quattro Stagioni - eggplant, artichokes, prosciutto, mushrooms. I didn't realize they came on separate quadrants. Not what I was expecting and not very good IMO. Not our kind of pizza.
DH's dessert - tiramisu. This was very good tiramisu!
The main reason I wanted to eat here besides the arancini - the zeppole - Ricotta Cheese Fritters, served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I have watched Giada make these on Food Network a dozen times. Totally worth the hype! If I ever go back to VN, I will get the same appetizer and these little babies!!!
