The Plaza Restaurant: 12/10/10

Hand-dipped chocolate milkshake - very good consistency and tasty
DisneyXmas2010049.jpg

This was the soup of the day, I think baked potato. The person who ordered it seemed to like it a lot
DisneyXmas2010050.jpg

DisneyXmas2010051.jpg

Angus Chuck Cheeseburger - flour-dusted Kaiser roll with cheddar cheese, bacon, and grilled mushrooms with French fries - very tasty. Both DH, friend's DH, and I ordered this and all loved it
DisneyXmas2010052.jpg

My friend ordered the Cheese Steak Sandwich - Shaved beef grilled with onions, mushrooms, red peppers, and American cheese served on a Hoagie Roll with fries. She said it was very good
DisneyXmas2010053.jpg

My friend's daughter ordered the peanut butter and jelly sandwich with grapes and bananas
DisneyXmas2010054.jpg

Main Street Bakery: 12/11/10

Glorious cinnamon roll - The last time we were here I got the very first one off the tray and it was spectacular. This time I got the last one off the tray and it wasn't nearly AS good...but it was still pretty darn good :)
DisneyXmas2010141.jpg

DH got his first, but definitely not last, cheese danish. He fell in love with these this trip!
DisneyXmas2010142.jpg

Pecos Bill's: 12/11/10

Taco Salad - just "meh", the meat was room temp so the cheese didn't melt. I put salsa, sour cream, banana peppers, and cheese on it and it was okay. The taste was okay; would have been 100% better hot
DisneyXmas2010186.jpg

Carrot cake dessert - good but they need to cut down on the amount of icing IMO
DisneyXmas2010189.jpg

Columbia Harbour House: 12/11/10

DH didn't want Pecos Bill's so he went here. NEVER AGAIN. It was way too crowded to split up for our orders. Anyway,
Chicken fingers and fries...can you say boring?? :) He apparently was too hungry to wait on the fries, hehe
DisneyXmas2010188.jpg

But he did get the apple crisp dessert which was good. The only thing to make it better would have for it to be warmed slightly.
DisneyXmas2010187.jpg

California Grill: 12/11/10

Flatbread: Grilled flat iron steak with cambozola blue, mushroom cream, horseradish, and tempura shallots. This was my appetizer and I thought it was pretty good. DH LOVED it though.
DisneyXmas2010224.jpg

DH ordered the Triple Cheese Flatbread - Made with Pecorino, Asiago, and Provolone with sun-dried tomato and basil pesto. He thought this was okay but I loved it! Go figure...
DisneyXmas2010226.jpg

I ordered the Grilled Pork Tenderloin - Served with goat cheese polenta, button mushrooms, and Zinfandel glaze as my entree. Had this in May 2010 and it was slightly better then. The restaurant was much busier on this trip so that was probably the reason. The polenta was slightly luke warm. But the taste was still amazing!
DisneyXmas2010227.jpg

DH ordered the same from our last trip as well. (We like our entrees from that trip obviously!) Oak-fired Filet of Beef - Served with loaded mashed potatoes, Broccolini and teriyaki bar sauce. I think the vegetable and potato preparation changes with this dish because in May he got asparagus and potatoes gratin. This time it was the same potato dish but roasted carrots. Unfortunately the beef wasn't as good for him either. He said it was still very good, just not nearly as good as in May. :confused3
DisneyXmas2010229.jpg

For dessert we both went with the Baked Pecan Tart - warm pecan tart with maple pecan ice cream Jack Daniel's creme anglaise. OMG - soooo good!
DisneyXmas2010233.jpg

Pop Century Food Court: 12/12/10

DH and I split the bounty platter. It was good. The eggs were a little too dry for me though since I like them pretty moist. I loved the potatoes and DH liked the rest
DisneyXmas2010236.jpg

Chef's de France lunch: 12/12/10

My lobster bisque soup. WOW - so so good.
DisneyXmas2010268.jpg

I also ordered the tomato and goat cheese tarte. This was also very good. Could have had a little more goat cheese, or the same just more spread out somehow. The taste was great though.
DisneyXmas2010271.jpg

DH ordered the croque monsieur (French toasted ham and cheese sandwich) served with a green salad. I took a bite and it was so good. I really liked what I got but wouldn't hesitate to order this in the future.

My pictures are from our trip in November. Just now going through them. But this thread was so awesome for my trip planning, so I just had to come back to post my own pictures. I'm posting this in conjunction with my trip review, so the pictures may be slow coming. I'll also have dining reviews up soon.

Trip Review

Let's start with Wolfgang Puck Express. I had the Rotisserie Chicken w/mashed potatoes and gravy. It tasted great, but I found the chicken really difficult to eat. I couldn't get it off easily, and it kind of ruined the experience.

My brother, Russell had the meatball and peppers pizza. I had a slice as well. It was fantastic, and I'm sad I decided not to go with it, since it was my idea to try it.

My wife, Tabitha had the Chicken Tenders. She wanted fries with them, but they had ran out, so she got chips instead. Both were surprisingly tasty. But not too surprising.

For dessert, we all had creme brulee. I rather like creme brulee when it's still warm, and this was cold. But still, VERY good.

Another group of pictures for you guys. This time for the sweet tooth people out there. This comes from Goofy's Candy Company. We all got our own version of the dipped, covered, and drizzled Crispy Rice Micky Heads.

Mine was dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in butterfingers, and drizzled in white chocolate. It was fantastic. We all took these back to the resort room and used it for a snack the whole week. These things are huge.

Tabitha had hers dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in sprinkles, and drizzled with milk chocolate. I guess that makes it a chocolate lover's dream.
5361252425_5ba10e7377_b.jpg

Finally, Russell built a monstrosity with his treat. Dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in milk/white chocolate chips (which made it huge), and drizzled with white chocolate.

These were great. I highly recommend them for taking back to the room to snack on if you are there for a week. One bite goes a long way. They were wrapped in paper, and given to us in a box, so they stayed fresh the whole time.

Via Napoli: Dinner 12/12/10

I am so sorry these pictures are blurry. Hard to get clear ones with the lighting.
Our appetizer: Fritto Misto - An assortment of just fried seasonal vegetables, fish and cheese to be shared at the table. Arancini, Mozzarella, calamari, melanzane, asparagi, zucchini, carciofi
DisneyXmas2010357.jpg

Close-up of the arancini. This is a fried saffron risotto ball filled with mozzarella and meat ragu. So good!
DisneyXmas2010358.jpg

DH's pepperoni pizza. He liked it.
DisneyXmas2010359.jpg

My pizza: Quattro Stagioni - eggplant, artichokes, prosciutto, mushrooms. I didn't realize they came on separate quadrants. Not what I was expecting and not very good IMO. Not our kind of pizza.
DisneyXmas2010360.jpg

DH's dessert - tiramisu. This was very good tiramisu!
DisneyXmas2010361.jpg

The main reason I wanted to eat here besides the arancini - the zeppole - Ricotta Cheese Fritters, served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I have watched Giada make these on Food Network a dozen times. Totally worth the hype! If I ever go back to VN, I will get the same appetizer and these little babies!!!

1900 Park Fare breakfast - 12/13/10

My plate: starting at 12:00 - biscuit and sausage grave (pretty good), lobster eggs benedict (first for me, but I liked it), cinnamon bread pudding (so good), sausage link (good), bacon (too crispy for me), mickey waffle (good, as always), scrambled eggs (pretty good)
DisneyXmas2010402.jpg

DH's plate: tons of french toast (his favorite, he liked it at alot), sausage links and bacon, and scrambled eggs. He's not a buffet person.
DisneyXmas2010403.jpg

This was a meal with friends. We would not come back just for the food.

Wolfgang Puck Express lunch - 12/13/10

DH's meat loaf - beef and pork, wrapped in bacon with eggplant and mushrooms, served over garlic mashed potatoes and port wine sauce. I just realized this description for wdwinfo says eggplant. My DH wouldn't touch eggplant w/ a ten-foot pole so I don't think it was there. WPE is now his favorite CS place. We even went back on our last day so he could get this again.
DisneyXmas2010452.jpg

My rosemary chicken - garlic mashed potatoes with a lemon-rosemary sauce. I'm not sure what came over me because this was a boring choice for me. I thought it was juicy and tasted like chicken. Nothing special though. The potatoes were nice and warm and buttery. The chicken just left much to be desired.
DisneyXmas2010453.jpg

Neither of us wanted dessert so we just got the prepackaged sugar cookies since we were on the DDP.
DisneyXmas2010451.jpg

Pop Century Food Court dinner - 12/13/10

My cheeseburger with bacon. Both it and the fries were good after a long night at DHS in the cold.
DisneyXmas2010473.jpg

My DH had been wanting a hot dog the entire trip. He finally got it and said it was great!
DisneyXmas2010476.jpg

His chocolate chip cookie (good)
DisneyXmas2010475.jpg

My white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie (a bit too crispy and brown on top)
DisneyXmas2010474.jpg

Snacks from World Showcase: 12/14/10

School bread from the bakery in Norway. Terribly blurry, so sorry; but awesome, as always!
DisneyXmas2010532.jpg

DH's chocolate eclair from the bakery in France. Also very good.
