Fabulous meal!

Strawberry Daquiri

Grilled New York Strip Steak - served with roasted potatoes, watercress, and tomotoes tossed in caramelized shallot vinaigrette. My DH loved this.

Caesar Salad with Chicken - lots of flavor.

The Chocolate Wave - served with raspberries

Butterscotch Cremé Brulée - with seasonal berries

Baileys and Jack Daniel's Mousse - topped with a ganache and chocolate cigar. I could really taste the alcohol at the bottom of this.

Tortelli Di Vitello Al "Chianti" - veal and Chianti ravioli, parmesan cheese, sage butter, roasted tomato - One of the best dishes at WDW!

Carre D'Agnello In Crosta Di Erbe - oven roasted rack of lamb, herb crusted, red wine sauce - DH did not care for this dish.

Gianduja - Chocolate Torta - chocolate and hazelnut torte with whipped cream and raspberry sauce

Mocha Tiramisu - mascarpone cheese, espresso coffee, savoiardi biscuits and chocolate

F&W Jiko's Signature Dinner

We were soon poured a glass of Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc 2008 and served a dish prepared by Brett Hill - Warm Lentil Dahl, Grilled Paneer, House-made Pickles, Roasted Garlic Naan Bread

For our next course we were served a glass of Savanna Dry Cider. This was served with John Clark's Chickpea, Tomato and Cucumber Salad

We wer poured a glass of Boekenhoutskloof Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 with the Chef's Sundowner - Cured Beef, Dried Fruit, Spiced Nuts.

Our next course was given Hamilton Russel Chardonnay 2007 for Brett Hill's/Mace Maison's Tandoori Marinated Quail, Vegetable Dum Biryani, Charred Tomato Sauce.

Our last protein course was poured a glass of Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir 2007. We were served Brett Hill's Spiced Crusted Surmai, Mustard Seed Crushed Potatoes, Lime and Coconut Curry

To finish up our evening we were poured a glass of The Chocolate Block 2007 for the Jiko Chef's Orange-Sesame Cake, Mango Kulfi, Chai Cream.

DH had the short rib (which was cooked 12 hours in red wine) and I had the veal shank - BOTH WERE WONDERFUL

I had the lemon/raspberry cheesecake and DH had the chocolate banana torte (wiping drool off chin)

Frozen strawberry?/lemonade slushie from the outpost at Epcot. It was really(too) sweet. I liked the raspberry lemonade slushies from the Enchanted Grove at the Magic Kingdom better.
