dinner at 1900 park fare


as far as the food goes, i loved everything except for the strawberry soup. i know this place is famous for this but i just couldn't get past the little chunks of strawberry in it. the taste was good but i'm a texture-based person and if anything is chunky like that i can't deal with it! by the way, the characters here were EXCELLENT! the step-sisters were the highlight of our evening.

Punkin, these look so yummy. If I get to do a girls only trip, I will definitely add this to my list.

If anyone is not following Punkins TR, you should go read about her adventures with the characters here. They sound like great fun

At Boma I did like those Falafel balls and the Hummus and the potatoes . Don't like couscous anyway so didn't try that. I did try watermelon rind salad and did not like it ! But the zebra domes made up for that!!

This is great news!! Was it on the menu or did you have to ask for it?? I was going to make ADR's for Ohana just for the bread pudding, but my family would rather eat at Kona.

OMG!! We hate fish so we've never gone here, but these pics look so delicious!! Is the Coney Island Iced Tea alcoholic? That steak looks so good and the pear dessert too! I think I'm going to try for an ADR next trip. Thanks for posting.

Wow, finally got through all three editions of the food porn. Thank you to everyone who posted pictures and gave opinions it helped us figure out where we are going to eat when we go next week. Now we just have to figure out how to fit 30 meals into 3 days. I have a question though. Are the frozen drinks, specifically the frozen margaritas, available without alcohol? I am travelling with two 17 year olds who love frozen virgin margaritas so I was just wondering. TIA

Not the OP, but my DH had it at Kona in May. All you have to do is ask for it and the CMs are happy to help you out! ENJOY!!!
