Fiesta Margarita at Epcot question. Have they finally given up on the "Sour Apple" flavor layer? Or did you ask for it without that one? Enquiring Minds who loathe the Sour Apple :rotfl2:

Hmmm, don't really know actually. But it was towards the end of the day and I remember one of the containers being empty. Maybe they just ran out of it!

Thats funny how everyone is different... I hate the mango...

Is it real bananas, or the fake banana flavor?

last time i had one (april '08) it was fake banana flavor but really, really good! i have a wierd thing about chunks of fruit in anything though - i can't stand it. like i can't drink smoothies because they usually have chunks of fruit in them and i just gag. same thing with pulp in orange juice. i'm just strange i guess!

I had the above prime rib dinner recently. I added the grilled asparagus and the mushrooms. Both were great, but they give you a full little skillet of the mushrooms, not just a little cup of them, so it was waaaaay too much food. I ended up passing muchrooms around the table to share. They were delish!

Fake banana, it is the same Slurpies you get at 7-11

I thought it was gross, had a weird bitter taste.....next time I will get a frozen raspberry lemonade

you're kidding me! i have never had a slurpie at the 7-11 that was that good. maybe i should visit the 7-11s where you live! i had the frozen raspberry lemonade on my most recent trip in september and while i thought it was good, i much prefer the frozen banana slushie. well, that just goes to show you - we all have different tastes! ;)

here's another picture of one (not that it looks any different, but the more pics the better!) my hubby and i both loved it. we got one of those and a pretzel with cheese dip to share while we watched lights, motors, action......

dinner at 1900 park fare

my first plates (clockwise from top): caesar salad in the bowl on the left; paella (not sure if i spelled that correctly), chicken marsala, some sort of beef/tomato pasta, mashed potatoes, spinach/edamame salad, asian noodle salad, bread.

Picture112.jpg

my friend's first plate: strawberry soup, bread, caesar salad, tomato/mozzerella/caper salad

Picture113-1.jpg

my second plates: asparagus soup in the bowl on the left; prime rib with gravy, bread, salad with green beans

Picture115-1.jpg

my friend's second plates: i don't know what kind of soup that is on the right - it looks like maybe lentil or white beans; mashed potatoes, salmon with dill sauce, paella, something with olives in it (can't remember), asian noodle salad, chicken marsala, bread

Picture114.jpg

my dessert plates (i forgot to take a pic of my friend's, but we generally had the same stuff except she had ice cream and i didn't): strawberry soup on the left; some sort of lemony/creamy thing with whipped cream, cheesecake, fruit tart; chocolate mousse on the right.

Picture124-1.jpg

as far as the food goes, i loved everything except for the strawberry soup. i know this place is famous for this but i just couldn't get past the little chunks of strawberry in it. the taste was good but i'm a texture-based person and if anything is chunky like that i can't deal with it! by the way, the characters here were EXCELLENT! the step-sisters were the highlight of our evening.
