Coral Reef (lunch menu)

Sea and Land - Grilled shrimp with cucumber salad and barbecued beef skewer with creamy Polenta.

Mixed Greens Salad - Topped with Key lime-herb vinaigrette.

Blackened Catfish - Served over pepperjack cheese grits, topped with a smoked tomato compote, and drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

Grilled Mahi Mahi - served with cashew-jasmine rice topped with a spicy pineapple chutney finished with a malibu rum beurre blanc.

Thanks for the great pics from lunch at Coral Reef. We're eating lunch there in Nov. and really appreciate the pics! Yummy!

I'm torn...I have to choose between Coral Reef or Kona Cafe and with all these pics I can't decide

Kona Birthday treat
it was a cream puff with ice cream.
i will have more in december!

Did you have to give the restaurant advance notice to recieve that?? and was it free?? Do they need to see a birth Certificate?? We leave in 7 days for WDW and my DH Bday is the day we are travelling but we wanted to celebrate down there. Also do they give out the treats for Wedding Anniversaries?? This trip is our 20th Wed. Ann. and DH bday gift.

Bump

My
Post

On this thread its not necessary, as it will get PLENTY of attention, but on SMALLER threads, a "bump" or "subbing" helps the thread survive. Your "bumping" could be the only lifeline a really good (but slow) thread sees.

Feel free to bump my swimming pool pictures thread as much as you like!:thumbsup2 http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1798820

And so you can't say this is OT... here's a picture!:thumbsup2

Chilled Shrimp - served with seaweed salad $10.99

I loved this, but the cocktail sauce was a bit overpowering to the seaweed salad (barely pictured on the bottom of the glass). It was great, but the two didn't belong in the same cup IMHO. Two totally different tastes that don't go well together! The shrimp and Cocktail were great together, as were the shrimp and the seaweed salad were great together, but the combination of cocktail and seaweed salad... Not good. I'd still get it again though!
It would have been a LOT better if there had been about 3 times as much seaweed salad, and if it had been in a separate dish!:thumbsup2 Seaweed salad is perfect by itself.

hi. just have Disney put the bday/ anniversary, etc on the ADR. You can also get a birthday button at guest services and wear it all week, that is what i did :) -you dont have to show anything to get the button or to put the info on your ADR

I'm so excited for Part III of the glorious Food Pictures! I can't wait until I can post pictures from my trip!! :)
