I love Ohana. I can't wait to go back in late November. The 29th to be exact, if I can get my ADRs that is :)

Nice pictures. That's the first time I have see pictures of Ohana when there was light outside. We have always eaten there at night around the time of Wishes :)

Thanks for the pics of 'Ohanas! :thumbsup2 I'll be there in a week! This'll be my 11th time eating there and although the menu has changed quite a few times since '93, this menu is my absolute favorite. It looks like you had a nice view as well! (although I wish they would make their two person tables bigger to fit all of the plates/bowls of food! :) ).

Wondering if anyone can help me with a picture of the pork two ways entree from Citricos (and maybe even a comment of what you thought of it.)

Thanks in advance!

awesome stuff, can't wait for my le cellier reservation on 10/5!

DH and I made it to CR for dinner at the Wave right at 7pm, the same time as our ressie! I valet the car, went to the Wave and we were seated right away. The lobby of the CR was jammed with people but the bar to the Wave and the seating areas were empty. The dining room was full of people but we were seated right away. Our server was Kim and she was very helpful in making suggestions and telling us what her favorites were. We were starved! I just had yogurt and fruit from the free continental breakfast at the hotel and Todd had some crappy pizza for lunch....we were ready to chow down!

Here are some pics of the menu..sorry for the glare but it is so dark in there and I still have not mastered the camera settings.

I started with the Magical Star Cocktail, I just love these things, they are so good and cold but this one was very weak....

TheWave005.jpg

Todd had a glass of some sparkling wine, a Rose something...he liked it.

TheWave006.jpg

I knew I had to get the avocado citrus salad, I told DH if he wanted some he had to order his own because I planned on eating it all myself. We had this in March 09 and I loved it but we shared it and I barely got two bites...that is a theme when sharing foods with my husband. This time I was shocked...the size was huge, it was loaded with super creamy wonderful avocados, tons of white grapefruit, pink grapefruit and orange segments, mixed baby green....this salad is incredible and I could eat it every single day! Todd was lucky it was such a large salad because I shared!

TheWave009.jpg

DH went for the lettuce wraps, bibb lettuce with marinated chicken and veggies...there were three of them so I got to eat one. The chicken is very tender, the flavor is slightly smokey asian flavored...very good but a bit messy from the sauce. DH really enjoyed them but his fave will always be PF Changs/Pei Wei

TheWave007.jpg

TheWave008.jpg

Out came the bread and butter...this is great stuff! The bread has a nice chewy crust and is very grain-y and yummy! The bread was creamy and had a nice salt on it.

TheWave011.jpg

I could not decide what to order, I had already had the filet and the pork so I wanted to do something different. I had the linguine with shrimp..they subbed extra shrimp for the clams (Nic doesnt do clams that way....fried only). Wow this was incredible...first the pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, the dish was loaded with rock shrimp...I mean there were dozens in there. The sauce was a very light, almost thin, tomato sauce..not like spaghetti sauce but more like a very mild tomato bisque soup...topped with an herb crostini.....we both loved this and finished the entire place, Todd was blown away by how many shrimp were in the dish.

TheWave012.jpg

Todd had the flank steak, our server Kim highly recommended it so he was sold. He LOVED his dish, it was very tender (he had it cooked med well and it was still tender), tons of flavor in the meat, it sat on a bed of sauteed squash and there was a huge ice cream scoop size of quacamole on top..I had a bite and it was ok for me (I am not a fan of overcooked meat) but he was very happy with it.

TheWave013.jpg

Now since we barely ate all day we decided we had room for dessert...here are pics of the menu

TheWave014.jpg

TheWave015.jpg

TheWave016.jpg

DH had a mocha latte....I had the lavender Earl Grey tea

TheWave017.jpg

TheWave018.jpg

I went with the sugar free trio...vanilla creme brulee, berries and a Panna Cotta and a mint chocolate mousse

TheWave019.jpg

The vanilla creme brulee was excellent, nice and creamy, not too sweet and the burnt sugar on top was perfect...we both enjoyed this alot.

TheWave020.jpg

The berries and panna cotta was awesome! Blueberries, blackberries and raspberries in a very light cream...we fought over this one!

TheWave021.jpg

The mint chocolate mousse was gawd awful, it was so minty it was like eating toothpaste and you could tell there was zero sugar in this one!

TheWave022.jpg

DH ordered the Celebration trio, a chocolate passionfruit mousse, a passionfruit creme brulee and a cheesecake with raspberry sauce...he had this in March and enjoyed it.

TheWave023.jpg

The chocolate mousse was very good but the bottom with the passionfruit was too tart for me...there caramel was yummy!

TheWave024.jpg

Todd loved the passionfruit creme brulee but again it was way too tart and sweet for me

TheWave025.jpg

The cheesecake was awesome, a nice buttery graham crust, creamy cheesecake and a light raspberry sauce, I wish they gave me a large one of that!

TheWave026.jpg

Here's Kouzzina's stacked breakfast: poached eggs with kalamata olive toast, artichoke spread, sweet potato hash, and chicken sausage (you can choose bacon instead of the sausage). I would get this again, it was a nice breakfast course. :thumbsup2

DH ordered 2 adult platters..they came with wonderful creamy scrambled eggs, awesome hash browns, the worlds worst, undercooked, super greasy biscuit (one bite and I spit it out) and horrible limp greasy bacon that DH had a few bites of. Now I love bacon but not WDW bacon, I will not eat it. Sadly they didnt have any sausage, they do not offer it.
