Yep the raviolis are at Chef Mickeys, my kids loved it , and the ice cream with the crown is actually from the Cinderella lunch.

Supermarkets carry Mickey-shaped ravioli in the freezer section too for a quick Disney fix at home; of course...they won't taste as good as the ones at WDW.

I was just skimming over the pics, when I seen this I thought 'why is someone posting a pic of cologne on the food porn thread'. Then I went back and read what it was.:rolleyes2

This looks so good. I thought it was cologne also, but it might not be a good idea to wear it!!! :rotfl2:

OMG, those pics of the Yachtsman Steakhouse look incredible. Is that 1 or 2 credits on DDP? Is it as good as it looks?

I can see the situation right now...

"Officer, I haven't had anything to drink! I swear it!
Officer: "But I can smell it! STOP LYING TO ME! Say the alphabets backwards starting with Z"
"But officer it's my cologne!"
"AND you are driving around with OPEN CONTAINER?"
:lmao:

WPASADI was a game that was played here on the DIS.

The name itself is an acronym from reality shows. First two times it was played only for tags and bragging rights. In the third, actual prizes like snowglobes, iPods, giftcard, cruises, etc were awarded.

I was lucky enough to win the grand prize. (Well actually two of us won the grand prize. It got complicated)

I will say I ordered this because of the photos I've seen posted in the food porn thread(s). I don't think I've ever read a description of it before, so I'll share. Yes, it's funky-colored cheesecake ..... on top. The bottom "layer" is red velvet cake - at least that's what it tasted like to me! I thought I was simply ordering fun cheesecake, so this was a very pleasant surprise! I love red velvet cake (and do not understand why I can't get it in the middle of the summer instead of only during the holidays! ) and this was a wonderful combination ......... to my taste buds! I just thought I'd give those folks that may not have had this a quick description so you know it's a bit more than your standard cheesecake!

I'm not one to put down Disney food, but I have tried the POP cheesecake twice, and I wasn't impressed either time. Probably because I'm a BIG cheesecake fanatic, and I really don't think this tastes like true cheesecake. It is (after all) red velvet on bottom. Its very possible I got an off batch twice. And you know we're all different.
I thought it tasted too junky. The dyes are so thick they seem to seeth out all over everything. I've had awesome cheesecake ALL OVER WDW, but this one wasn't one of them.
Now, mind you, it IS a BEAUTIFUL dessert, and its VERY VERY different! So for that I give it many stars, but flavor wise, I wasn't impressed either time.
I also will say that even though I'm not a huge fan of it I hope they never take it away. Its a true POP classic food!:thumbsup2
And even though its not my favorite cheesecake in WDW, I'd still LOVE a slice of it RIGHT NOW, because although it may not be the best cheesecake in Disney; it certainly would be the best dessert in my refrigerator!!!:hyper:
And I'll add that it wasn't wasted. We fought over it.

MEDICAL ALERT:

The Tye Dyed cheesecake is SEETHING with dyes (duh) so keep this in mind if you have autistic children. Many autistic children (and ADHD) can't handle red and blue dyes, and many other conditions are similar. Dyes are made from petroleum. Some of the red dyes you eat are actually made from INSECTS!!!  :faint: Seriously. Look it up.

Bugs where the original reds and purples in natural dyes were cochenial bugs. Did natural dying last year and I was the bug carcus grinder and. Oh course we dyed the ever tasty yarn.....but yeah the smell wasn't appetizing but the colour better than any flower or spice used that weekend. The water did look like berry juice.

Confirmed.

also interesting reading:

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1302796

I was looking for a complete list of all the foods that use it but couldn't find it. I know many of the big name brand yogurts use it.

I know...:offtopic: But its interesting... and it all started with the cheesecake!:rotfl2:

People may disagree with me, but as gross as it sounds I'd rather the bugs than the chemicals! We try to steer clear of artificial stuff and even though I don't "enforce" that rule on vacation I do wish Disney would make a better attempt to make their meals a bit healthier. They came out with the new kids menus because they claim they are "healthier," but I'd be willing to bet if they just stuck to more natural ingredients they could actually make chicken nuggets healthier than most of the mac n cheese and hot dogs that are currently on the menus.

Is that plain tuna or tuna salad? What kind of bread is that and was it toasted? Thanks.

It is tuna "salad" ... but without a whole lot of extra "STUFF" that some ppl like to cram into various salads.

The bread is a whole grain. I remember it had sunflower (?) seeds b/c I liked picking them out & eating them .....

It does not come toasted. If you want it that way, ask & see what happens ...... maybe they would do it for you. :confused3 Wouldn't hurt to ask. As Bawb would say "they can't hit ya":thumbsup2

I've had the Nuvo sparkling vodka! I'm a sucker for light up glasses, and since it comes in one, DH and I shared a glass. Yes, for $15 it is just a glass, you do get to keep the fairly sturdy "souvenier" champagne glass that lights up when you put liquid in it. The Total Wines here in Orlando carries a bottle for $20, and the bottle has a little more than 2 champagne glasses worth, so the price at Epcot isn't *terrible* compared to how much the bottle is at the store.

Anyway! It's very light and fruity, has the kick of a stronger champagne (15% ABV) and was a very nice treat on a humid evening to share with DH. We did buy it at Total Wines afterwards when we found it there, but we wouldn't buy it again except for special occasions - it's pricey!

Finally! Thank you so much for explaining!!! And congratulations on the prize!!!

Is the grilled chicken in kids meals plain and unseasoned? I was just wondering because I can't eat garlic or onions. The last time we were at the world all the adult grilled chicken at the counter service restaurants were heavily seasoned/marinated. From some of the photos, it looks like the kids' chicken is pretty bare. Thanks.
