Disney Food Pictures...Part II

Columbia Harbor House - MK

This was our dinner at the Columbia Harbor House right before PM EMH at the MK! We love this spot! DH & DS got there before us girls, so they snagged an upstairs table by a window .... with a nice little view of the Haunted Mansion! We'd never eaten upstairs here. I can say it was much quiter than the crowded downstairs area!

DD had the kids Garden Salad with Chicken (I swear I don't know WHY she is a healthy eater!?!):

Oh - I forgot to say that her "sides" were grapes & chocolate pudding. Now, I should share that the pudding was NOT for her. She got it for her brother since he was sharing an adult meal & didn't get his own sides. I swear she takes this healthy thing too far ....... I don't think she knows she's a CHILD!!!

I had the Anchors Aweigh Sandwich (tuna):

I did have apples as my side. Guess DD's rubbing off on me ......

DH & DS shared the Chicken Breast Nuggets and Fish (with fries):

Now, I will say that in the past, I have very much enjoyed the Garden Harvest Salad here. It is quite light, fresh & yummy! However .... when we were placing our order, I couldn't seem to find the word "CHICKEN" in the description ...... and couldn't for the life of me figure out the name of the salad! So, I ordered the tuna sandwich & then figured out which salad I really wanted afterwards. For some reason, "Garden Harvest" didn't evoke an image if chicken in my brain! Oh well, the sandwich was very good. I liked the bread. It was whole grain and had a quite a bit of flavor - for bread.

Okay - the ONLY other food porn pic I took on this trip was of the Tie Dyed Cheesecake at Everything Pop Food Court @ Pop Century Resort!

I cannot explain WHY I didn't take more photos. I can only PROMISE to do much better on our trip (starting next week!!! )

I will say I ordered this because of the photos I've seen posted in the food porn thread(s). I don't think I've ever read a description of it before, so I'll share. Yes, it's funky-colored cheesecake ..... on top. The bottom "layer" is red velvet cake - at least that's what it tasted like to me! I thought I was simply ordering fun cheesecake, so this was a very pleasant surprise! I love red velvet cake (and do not understand why I can't get it in the middle of the summer instead of only during the holidays! ) and this was a wonderful combination ......... to my taste buds! I just thought I'd give those folks that may not have had this a quick description so you know it's a bit more than your standard cheesecake!

How were the Oreo bon bons? They look delish and I can put a hurtin' on a back of Oreos so these might be worth adding an ADR.

Not that I recall. I do NOT like to eat uncooked onion, so that would have been a HUGE issue for me! I can't swear to the celery though. I know I was really pleased with the sandwich overall.

Not the OP, but they are referring to Goofy's Candy at DTD. That's where you can make your own.
