Port Orleans' French Quarter - Beneights
IMG_5725.jpg

Does anyone know if you can get teh Beneights in the morning? Those look so yummy. I always wake up before my family and I could so see myself finding a way up there from POR to surprise every one with warm Beneights. YUM! YUM!:cloud9:

You definitely can! Every time we stay at POR we walk to POFQ at least once for breakfast to have them. SO delish!

This is for anyone that goes to the resturant and lets the wait staff know you have a birthday in your party. All the resturants have something speacial for the birthday boy or girl. Oh and it is not only for kids. My mom enjoyed all her treats on her birthday. :thumbsup2

We visited Chef mickeys for my sons 6th birthday and he enjoyed the surprise very much unfortunatly he was coming down with something at the time and was not feeling vey well...but we love to look back and remember it..really made him feel special.:thumbsup2

I'd heard you could get prailines at POFQ, but nobody in the food court knew what I was talking about, so we got those beneights instead. Is there a place to get prailines at WDW?

I think I remember seeing them in the candy shop at DTD West but not sure. By the way, your wedding pix are fantastic! Love the blue stones with your dress. Thank you so much for sharing.

Riverside Mill Port Orleans Riverside Food Court... Double Cheeseburger. I don't know if it was Disney magic... but the double cheeseburger at Riverside Mill is the best cheeseburger I've ever had.

Aine was one of our girl choices that we never got to use..:)
My oldest is a junior so no choice but the two little ones are Aidan Padraig and Eoin Niall.

:goodvibes Just came across this...I'll see your Aidan, Eoin, Aine, etc. and raise you a Teagan and an Eilidh.....(AY-lee), she's 3 and it's lots of fun trying to explain THAT spelling in airports, at dr's etc...:lmao:

And now back to the food porn, to which I've become addicted....

Good memory!:rotfl: Yep, this was the worst meal of the trip and the one I was most excited about. I love fried green tomatoes The tuna was very rare, which I didn't mind. The fried green tomatoes were so hard you couldn't cut them. The tempura crab was mostly tempura with a tiny speck of crab. The wasabi hollandaise was missing the wasabi. The tuna was ice cold. The asparagus were good though, that's all I could eat. Three of us ordered this and couldn't eat it.

I just wanted to say that we had canceled our ADR because of reading (by a few people) that the Tuna was bad. Well we changed our mind last minute and went. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! I think maybe they had an off night? The Tuna was delicious and the crab I could have made a meal of alone! It was a huge chunk of crab and so yummy! I literally cleaned my plate! I will add that we love rare Tuna so being rare wasn't a problem for us. But still it was really good. i already booked Kona again for Oct because I want to have the same meal again.
