It's pretty good. Typical BBQ fare with beans etc. But that prime rib looks amazing.

Not the OP but we ate there in Dec and it was the BEST meal of the trip. Delicious.

Oh, it IS devine! Okay the brown cake part is like a mini bundt cake. It has lots of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice--it had a great holiday-like feel to it. It also has some very finely chopped up dates in it, but not really noticable, it just gave it a denser texture. Okay, it is sitting on this rich home-made warm vanilla pudding that is oh so creamy and pairs well with the spices in the cake. On top of the cake is a rum butterscotch caramel sauce. It is so good if you get a spoonfull of all three at once.

Yum. We are going in 2 weeks for a short trip and I am bummed that we aren't going to Rose and Crown... but we are in September! Can't wait for that or I might just have to find a way to make it diet friendly at home!

Thanks for posting that picture Is that the new chicken nuggets or the old chicken tenders? I love the old ones, but I'm willing to try the new ones. Never met a chicken tender I didn't like

Ha ha neither have i! If i couldn't decide what to eat i would usually have the chicken tenders! They are chicken tenders and extremely yummy! didn't know they did nuggets! They sound good too!

Main St. Bakery - this is what we ordered

French Toast loaf, cheese danish, frozen latte, apple turnover, egg, ham, and cheese croissant

The french toast loaf is sooooo good.

I found some more food pix that I'm pretty sure I haven't posted here before. These are the BoardWalk Convention Center menu items we tried when we were planning our wedding.

Crab Rangoon & Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

Mixed Field Greens

Seafood Salad

Our main courses arrived on the same plate: Parmesan-crusted chicken with basil mashed potatoes and filet with sauteed mushrooms and tomato hollandaise.

The appetizers were OK, but were typical hotel-buffet quality. The salads were beautiful and good. I thought the main courses were just average. The parmesan-crusted chicken was bland and didn’t taste like parmesan, and the basil-mashed potatoes didn’t taste like basil (even though I could see it in there! )The filet was kinda chewy and gristly, and the tomato hollandaise was bland. The mushrooms were fantastic though!

Last we tried the Cinderella Slipper dessert.

I asked for it because so many people on the DIS rave about it. It must be because of the presentation, cuz the mousse and the white and dark chocolate were pretty average. However, knowing what a hot commodity it is, I asked to take one of the spares with us! Hee hee! (They made 2 extra in case ours were damaged in transit).
