Disney Food Pictures...Part II

That looks really good. We are going there in Dec. What are the second two entrees, and can you tell me how you liked those please. Thanks.

The entrees were:

Char-grilled Pork Tenderloin glazed with port wine and served with root vegetable hash and apple raisin chutney

Top Sirloin Steak - char-grilled and topped with roasted mushrooms, red and green peppers, and served with root vegetable hash

Golden Fried Chicken - Served with mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, and Southern greens

My DH loved, loved, loved the Pork Tenderloin, espec. the apple raisin chutney. My DS enjoyed the chicken as well, not so much the Southern greens

The Top Sirloin was my choice, and was wonderful, cooked just as I requested.

This was one of our favorite meals .

50's Prime Time Cafe:

Birthday cake that was supposed to be delivered during our meal at 1900 Park Faire, but wasn't, so they delivered it to our room instead!

yep, it's a counter service. great deal, too! they even have semi-servers. you place your order at a counter, but then you take a seat and the servers bring you your food and even refill your drinks and get you to-go containers. GREAT counter service!

Actually, the pictures that were posted were from Wolfgang Puck Cafe which is a table service, NOT a counter service.

However, Wolfgang Puck Express is attached to Wolfgang Puck Cafe and has some of the same dishes (the BBQ chicken quesadilla for instance is an appetizer in the Cafe and an entree at the Express), but, offers a counter service experience.

I'll also agree, WP Express is a great counter service option!

i posted the pictures and they were from the wolfgang puck express at DTD marketplace.

i think the express at the marketplace has a bigger menu than the one attached to the cafe. we originally had an ADR at house of blues that day and they were experiencing some power difficulties and only had 4 things to offer. DH and i had eaten at the WPE at marketplace last year and enjoyed it, so opted to go there. when we noticed the WPE attached to the cafe, we stopped there but realized that their menu was not as extensive. they definitely have more items on the menu at the express at marketplace.

They all look delish! Many things I don't remember being on allears. I really like thelook of the fried cheesecake! What was on the mixed grill and what w3as the catch of the day??

You know, people keep telling me that. So, I routinely open both menus and compare them. I have only ONCE found that the DIS menu was a more recent update than the allears one. In fact, many of the DIS menus are completely undated and therefore essentially useless.

I'll keep looking at both, but, I'm always going to trust the dated one over the undated one since I can always read an old menu with an eye to the type of food.

no biggie! express has actually changed since were there last year. i think their menu has expanded a little, they've remodeled and the service is more detailed, so it has taken on a new life!

Kinda OT but I thought it was really funny that when we were at the Boardwalk Inn this past March we had gone down to the front desk to ask for a menu from Spoodles. Guess where the CM at the concierge desk got us that menu??? Allears.net!!! I laughed really hard when she cut off the top of the paper that had the websites name on it but of course we recognized the site when she pulled it up on the computer!!

A little OT but, I'm going to Disneyland for the first time this summer and was wondering if they have a Goofy's Candy Company or something similar to that there.

but I had to say hi to a gamecock fan!! Don't see many on the boards! We live in SC also, about 50 min. from Colombia. OK...back to the pics!

I've had the DOh Bar and it is heavenly. If anything could make a Snickers bar better, it'd be battering it and frying it! Oh, the melty goodness of it!
