Disney Florist Question

I was interested in having one of the gift/snack baskets delivered to the room before we arrive at Pop Century. Will they do this, or does it have to be after we check in? I wanted it to be a surprise for the others on our trip.

Any suggestions on when to order? Our trip is in 43 days!

I just ordered something for my friends bday and they delivered it the next day after 2. It was in her room when they returned from theparks. I would call DF if you have specific wishes and speak to the front desk at your hotel as well to make sure it was there before you. have fun!

They will not put it in your room until you are checked in. Until you are standing at the desk checking in your room could be assigned to someone else.

Looks like I will have to order while we are down there then. Maybe they can deliver while we are in the parks so it can still be a surprise. PrincessBelle, I hope you have an awesome vacation. Pop is really fun! This will be our second stay at that resort.

I ordered one when we went in September. I was under the impression that they deliver to the room but they gave it to us at checkin.

Having it at the check-in desk would be ok too. Wonder if it is worth it, the stuff seems sooo expensive for what you are getting. But hey, disney trips only happen once a year at my house so I might as well splurge.

When we were checking in to our room this past October, DH had arranged for a surprise floral gift and bracelet to be there watining for me. When we found out where our room was going to be we were very unhappy (WL over the loading dock!!! uh nooo......) and DH had to ask the guest relations manager to step over near him and have it moved. So yes, sometimes they will put things in the room ahead of time.

In fact, one of the "gifts" DH was looking at was the "carpet of rose petals" and they would have done that ahead of time had he ordered that for me.

That all being said, he ended up ordering me a gorgeous yellow rose tinged with gold and a beautiful silver bracelet with the rose from B&theB on it. Just over the time of our trip, the bracelet was wearing very badly. The rose charm is against a silver heart and it rubbed against it and took off all the finish. He was very upset , wouldn't tell me what it cost, but said it was definitely not worth it.

mskayjay, Thanks for your input. Sorry to hear about your jewelry! I will have to call and see what they say. They have some beautiful balloon arrangements that I would like to decorate the room as well.
