Hello everyone! I am new here and overwhelmed by the amount of information on here!

My family (Me and fiance and our 2 kids) are going to Disneyland in midoctober. We are going for their birthdays, they will be turning 6(my daughter) and 4 (my son).

I have NEVER even been on a plane before so this is hugely exciting for me. I am overwhelmed by how much there seems to be to do in the Parks. We have also got our tickets to Mickeys Halloween Treat and I have booked a character dinner at Ariels Grotto(for my daughter's birthday)and a Lilo and Stitch character breakfast for my sons birthday.

Are there any other must do's? Anything I might need to register for beforehand. We have 9 days and have bought 5 day park hopper passes.

We will be driving down to Vegas one day and getting married!! We want it very small just us and the kids and that's perfect for us. They don't seem to have any very small packages to get married at Disney. We don't want any frills, just to get married. Does anyone know of any good chapels in Vegas?

Thanks and I look forward to reading all of your posts!

Congratulations!! You should have a fantastic time!! :yay: Your family will love it :grouphug:

It sounds like you have a lot of fun things planned already. If you are staying in one of the resort hotels, you could arrange something through Vacation Planning (cookies and milk, autographed character pictures, balloons, gift baskets). You can also get birthday pins. I think those are available from City Hall on Main Street.

A couple of ideas you may have already thought of: Rainforest Cafe is a lot of fun, and you can make advance reservations by calling them (714-772-0413). It's in Downtown Disney. My daughter loved it when we took her last year (age 6). This year we're bringing all 3 girls (4-year-old twins get to go this time) and big sister has been telling her little sisters all about it. Bring a princess outfit for your daughter, if she has one, to wear to Ariel's. It makes it so much fun! Not sure what to do for boys, since we have 3 girls. I recommend bringing along some plastic ponchos for Grizzly and Splash. I buy them in 2-packs at the Dollar store--easy to pack and you can just toss them when you're done with them. The first year we went, dd and I got completely soaked and had to trudge all the way back to the hotel to change our clothes, which was a real bummer since Grizzly was the first ride we went on! All 3 girls have stuffed animals that are the Build-a-Bear types and this year we're getting each animal a Disney outfit from the DTD B-A-B store. The girls are very excited about that and will be bringing the animals with them, of course! DD has brought her bear every year and he rides around in her backpack with his head poking out. He likes airplane rides :cutie:

And be sure to see Aladdin! It's really, really awesome.

Sorry I can't help you with the chapel stuff!
