Hi everyone-

Ok what do you think if I contacted Disney Monday Morning ( 2/20/06 ) and told them I wanted to buy DVC if they had what I wanted , what do you think my chances are of getting to Disney in June? I understand that there are many many many ways to pay for DVC but to the people who financed through Disney how was you'r experience how were rates and terms and I heard that they dont report your credit stuff , how is that possible , is there something going on with that?

Anyways Thank you all for your time and help

If you start the process on Monday, you should get in by June. It seems to take 2 months to close, but you can start making reservations right away. You guide will give you specifics. We signed papers on 1/11 and our first night's stay will be 4/29. They took 5 weeks to tell us we were approved, but I started booking after only 1 week. BTW, the 5 weeks was a little unusual because of paperwork issues and the fact my 2005 W-2 hadn't come yet. It should take 2-3 weeks to get approval if you're financing.

Financing seems to be at 10.75% if you don't allow direct debit, 9.75% if you do. You can finance for up to 10 years. If you finance for one year with 50% down, terms are different. They want at least 10% down. Incentives may pad your downpayment some.

As for Credit report, I think that since it's a mortgage, it doesn't go on the credit report. Someone else may know better. They do pull your credit history, though.
