I love how first people were all like:

"There aren't enough popular attractions at EPCOT for Fastpass"

and now they're all like:

"Winnie the Pooh is too popular, I cant believe it's fastpass only"

It would be nice for a meet and greet to just have to get fast pass for the kid and not the adult waiting with the child. Then the adult could do soarin or test track since a little kid can't do those.

People said there were not enough FP options. That is different to telling people if you don't have a Tier 1 you cannot opt to wait in line. No FP no meet.

They have never eliminated the option for guests willing to wait to do so. This is a whole new ballgame. And it's not going down well. I'm not surprised. I'm only surprised at people who are amazed that others are unhappy.

That's not what's happening at all. More like:

"There aren't enough attractions at Epcot that need a FP."

and now:

"It's crazy to make an uncrowded meet and greet FP+ only, creating a demand for FP by forcing you to need one."

It's confirmed, they're Tier 1. You can see it in MDE when you go to make a FP+ reservation.

This is what my brain is wrestling with. They didn't take the great stuff (and heaven help them if they did, to be fair) but they took things that are nice, but that never had FP at all to begin with and now you can't wait. You have to book it. For the love of Pete ....

My biggest concern with this isn't that I'll miss meeting Pooh. I've said for years he's the most over-exposed character in Disney. My concern is for WTH will their next step in this mess be?

Yep, that's me. We're heading towards a 100% reservation system.
