Disney Fastpass

Has anyone read a report on www.allearsnet.com. It comes under a review of CBR and is written by Tim Kininskas-April 2005 (9th review down). He states that if you stay at a Disney resort you can use your room key(if it also your park pass) as a fastpass ticket to bypass the long lines!!

Is this true, would that be like Universal and IOA room key? I have never heard this mentioned before and personally think the guy has got it wrong. But then again i might be wrong!!

Yep, this was true when we went in April 2002 anyway (going back next year woo hoo) our room key was our park pass, fastpass the lot.

I would have thought that what they meant was that you use your room key to get your fastpass - not that you simply wave it. Given the huge difference in on-site guests at Disney and Universal I can't imagine this working at Disney. I certainly saw no one flash their room key in this way to get into a fastpass queue.

as maleficent_man said, you use your disney resort key if it's also your park ticket, to get a fastpass.....not as the fastpass itself....

Yep, sorry about that, I took that as red, you use you door pass key as your ticket to obtain your fast pass, not as the fast pass itself.

Jeez, this is getting complicated
