BTW... We (Amanda, Alison, and I) did Tea on the Magic last week... We inquired about a large group (as ours) and accommodations at Tea... They really limit the total number of patrons as there were only about 2 dozen people and it was considered "full". The initial response was no problem, but we will see... we had a good time and as usual it was well worth the price.

I might think about Remy, Mati... although Rob just informed me I would be under the table with all the wine by the middle of the meal... he is probably right.

It is a beautiful sun shiney day in Winter Park, FL. All the younger family has been in the pool yesterday and today (although it is heated). Bob has the flu . I guess we will be headed back to reality once he feels a bit better.

Carole - can't wait to see all the pictures from the cruise! I loved tea last time. Jane and I went and it was so nice. Would be great to get a big group going.

Would love it if you consider Remy! I promise.....we can pace ourselves with the wine (of course this coming from someone who spent 4 hours at Palo -- just me, Joni and 3 bottles of wine....).

Glad the weather is nice for you guys but so sad that Bob has the flu. That just stinks!! I hope he feels better fast!!!

Sorry to be so MIA lately. We actually just returned from our Jan 29th Eastern and the weather was amazing!!! Sadly, I am sick and so is Logan. Bummer... Coming back to the bitter cold of Virginia after 80 degree sunny days is no fun at all.

It's finally getting started; I can't wait! I have so much to say when I use this little keyboard and when on the computer I am at a loss for words---plus---when I type an 'L', I get an 'o'. When I hit backspace I get 'L'....very frustrating. Enough about that. I have FE on my mind. Not quite sure how they work--do you buy/make for each room or each person? Or do you draw names? Do you give a gift every day? Can anyone post some photos and maybe photos of your doors. Sonya---I saw a photo of your door on another thread. We decorated our doors on the last cruise but didnt know enough to join in on the FE exchange.

I'll explain the FE for you. It's so fun!!! There are quite a few ways to do the FE. Basically you can either make or buy a FE on Etsy or Ebay. I actually make them myself, several people on here have bought them from me. Most people make them with a pocket for each person in the room or the normal is 2 pockets; some people took a bag and made one big one to hold gifts. You'll want to have room because you could have multiple gifts dropped off at the same time. It's great to come back to your room and find the surprises.
With the FE gifts, it'll be 1 gift per room. There are a few ways you can do the gifts, everyone does it different. You can buy 1 gift for the entire room, 1 gift per person in the room, 1 gift for the adults and seperate gifts for the children. It's up to you. It really depends on how many people are on the cruise with us.
Some examples are: a group from our last group was from Tennessee so they brought everyone a Moon Pie cause that's big in their state.
I made each room 1 gift- a bottle of pixie dust in a little baggie with candy.
I've seen people make magnets to give out and just put them on your door to add decoration. It's fun to be creative.

Here is a photo from our recent Jan 29th cruise that shows most of the FE gifts we received. Many people were super sweet and considerate in giving Logan baby appropriate gifts such as a pooh bib, stuffed animal, plastic water toys, A toy story snack container, even infant sun glasses. One person made cute mickey ear magnets for everyone's door that I had been meaning to make. Others gave us candy, home made photo albums, scrap booking stickers, CD mixes, Pirate eye patches, etc.

I think the best FE gifts are the ones that are useful on your trip or consumable. There was a great thread about the best things people have gotten in the FE. I'll see if i can find it.

I struggled with adding pics myself. I went to Photobucket, set up a free account, and uploaded pics there. You can click on the Direct Link box under the photo and it copies the URL/address for that photo automatically. You then come here, input your entry, and click on the little box right above the text that looks like a postcard of the mountains. It will open a dialog box for you to paste that URL/address into. It's that easy. You will only see the pic once you either Submit the Reply OR Preview Post.

Nice FE----did you make it or purchase it? The embroidered characters are awesome. Seems we are in the market to either purchase or make one.

Funny, when we mention a FISH EXTENDER to others, they look at us like we've grown another head or something. Then we describe it as Secret Santa or getting 'Boo'ed' at Halloween, and it makes a little or sense.

So my next question is....how problematic is it if the item is fragile and/or breakable?

Thanks! No, I didn't make ours. There is a woman on the DIS boards and I think on ebay as well that made 4 for us for our 2009 cruise. Each had a different theme... Ours was beach Disney, Rob & Ali's was pirate Disney, Mom & Dad's was Classic Disney (think steam boat Willy, etc), and I can't remember what Kevin's was. Maybe jungle Disney...

So exciting to see the FE's again!!! We had fun with magnets last time... If you have a color printer, you can make them on magnet paper In fact-- one person came up with a "logo" for our group (the Valentine Voyagers as we cruised through Valentine's day!) and made logo magnets for every door Once we have an "official" name, maybe we can do the same

Getting ready to cruise this Saturday on a 9 night Royal Caribbean... Will definitely be missing the Disney fun, but NEED some sunshine! Will probably be thinking about the Fantasy all week, haha
