Hi everyone! I doubt I will go to Remy if its $75 , but count me in for Palo!!

Well as predicted with my first post on here last week, I found out yesterday I am going to be made redundant in March. I'm very upset obviously, but have 5 months so I'm not too panicked yet! Obviously am still planning to cruise, barring any long-term employment issues! (For those who are my friend on facebook, please don't mention this, its meant to be confidential until Friday) :Just wanted to let you know in case I'm not on here much, as I'm feeling a bit quiet at the minute!

So sorry... Hopefully it will lead to a better opportunity! (We went through that last year when we moved. Adam was jobless for 3 motnhs, but in the end he was WAYYYYY better off!) Best wishes!

Sonya -- oh noooooo! I am so sorry! and you are sick too! Sending you lots of hugs and positive thoughts.

Where I work (software) it is not uncommon for this to happen and everyone I know who has been let go has told me that they are way better off. I am sure there are more wonderful things to come!

In the meantime, get better and don't let this latest news stress you out!

Oh Sonya, so sorry to hear your news . I went through a similar situation. I was at my company for 22 years. Four years ago, my entire department (along with a few others) was given 18 months notice about our jobs being consolidated at corporate headquarters. I still don't know if all that notice was good or bad . I'm sure you'll find something new and exciting .

I'm not surprised. There aren't as many inside rooms & the novelty of the virtual porthole has definitely upped the interest in the inside rooms. I know my wife demanded one

I'm glad it isn't just me. We've got ours also & are super excited. I just hope that our school calendar comes out like I expect. I would hate to have to move to a later one & pay more.

Just in case anyone is interested, Disneystore.com has some good deals right now. They have Mickey Polos on sale 70% off. Reg Price - $46.95 (I feel like they were $60 on the ship) marked down to $13.99! I have purchased these Polo's on the ship before with the Disney Cruise Line Logo for DH and he wears them to work all the time. He says they are really comfortable. Looks like these are from the parks.

To quote more than one post at a time, click the little button next to the word quote, which has the little speech-marks in it. Once you have clicked this on all the posts you want to quote, only then do you press the "quote" button on the last one!! Abracadabra!!! They will all be there ready for you to comment on!

This would be nice, but several of us would lose our discounts associated with booking on our last cruise as well as our onboard credits. I love that website though, so hate that I can't participate!
