**Disney Fantasy June 30th, 2012- EASTERN**

Here's one pointer: The college kids need to make sure they attend the very first activity organized for them. Otherwise they do not get to know the other college students onboard, and may feel like an outsider joining in later.

My girls are on this cruise with us, 19, 20, & 23. Hope for more collage age kids to!

To those more experienced cruisers, what should be on my *must do* list?
We are a family of 5 (Dh, me, DD (7) DS (6) and DS (3).

My husband and I are planning an adults only dinner for our 10 year anniversary on July 6th (last night).

We also are looking at reserving a PALO brunch, which I am told are only available for an "on sea" day. We spoke about Sunday - the first day. Do you think that is too early, or will the kids happily wave us away as they join the ocean clubs? My kids are generally not shy and they are very easy going.

Also, for those on the FE list - can you tell us about yourselves? (this may have already been done, I haven't been following since the beginning!)

Another question: If I plan to do BBB for the kids on pirate night, will that cover their costumes? Or should I plan to bring stuff, too?

Hi! Pawleys4. Yes, my son has turned in his Eagle paperwork to the scout office. Just waiting for the date and time for his board of review. He will be having his ceremony with his best friend Zach, who found out yesterday he has been accepted to the Air Force Academy.

Bingo is on the ball!!! I have just began to look for something to wear for pirate night.

Did your son get his Eagle Scout? Just this past weekend we had the Eagle Scout ceremony for our younger son (age 17). Our older son is an Eagle Scout as well. (age 21)

I am very glad to see so many recent high school grads and college students going on this cruise. Both of my boys love the teen club. When we last cruised, the older son was too old for the teen club. There were only a handful of college students onboard and my son did not click with them. He thought they were boring. So he ended up doing mostly adult activities while our younger son was still glued to the teen club. Hopefully there will be more fun-loving college students on this cruise.

So glad to see there are going to be a lot of college age cruisers onboard. I will definately make sure my son attends the first college meet and greet. My son is friends on facebook with a couple of friends he met on our first Disney cruise back in 2004!

Everyone should be added and updated. :thumbsup2

If not please post your info to be added.

Thank you:goodvibes

Amazing, we are also celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and our daughters graduation on this trip. Congrats to you and can't wait to celebrate.

Susan

We are joining you on the June 30th sailing of the Fantasy. This will be our fourth Disney cruise, having previously sailed on the Magic and the Wonder. We will not be joining the FE group, but will be decorating our door... with only magnetic decorations. (Yep, I read that post. We have only ever used magnetic decorations.)

Pawleys4 consists of Mom, Dad, 21-yr-old son who will be a rising college junior, and 17-yr-old son who will have just graduated high school and will be starting college in the fall. Both boys are very sociable and keep in touch with friends met on prior cruises.

We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and our son's graduation. Neither son knows we are taking this cruise yet. It will be a surprise at graduation. We are looking forward to sailing with you all. Now I need to read all these prior postings!

:wizard:

I have a DD that will be 18 on this cruise and she has been asking about any older kids she can hang out with. Glad to see more girls signing up :cool1:

So work has me totally bummed out right now, I am in a lot of drama. So I decided to let it go and start thinking about the cruise. I am really excited as we are turning that corner of being 120 days out :cool1: I can't wait. I really need to decide when I want to go to Palo's. Not sure which would be the best night because I want to experience each of the new dining rooms. Any thoughts?

Susan

Its too bad we cannot get all of our new graduates to get to know each other before we cruise. Mine is a little bashful. I am SO glad to see that the college group is going to be very good sized. I sure hope they all have a great time together. Hopefully my son doesnt think I am "lonely" and not want to spend time with that group just to make me feel better. He does that.

I have had a bad year at school/work this year too- this upcoming cruise has been and will be great "therapy." I think we might try for the brunch so we dont miss any dinner nights. My daughter and her fiance might do a palo dinner- I dont wanna crash their night.

I'm also planning a brunch instead of dinner.

DH and I are doing Palo dinner on our Dream cruise in April - so no need for us to repeat it again so soon. And my parents really prefer that we all eat together for dinner, so they'd be ..... well, less than pleased, if we tried to do Palo dinner ;)

We should "introduce" the kids at the DIS Meet.

We can't book until 90 days out so leave a spot for us!;) I am not sure what night I will book either. We want to do the brunch and dinner.

Hello fellow cruisers! I had posted a while back, not sure if anyone saw it since I see we are not on the list on the first page.

Just wanted to let you know I am currently looking at our ship in the New York harbor from across the river in New Jersey and she looks beautiful!! :thumbsup2 I can see the big screen on the deck outside showing a movie or something- there must be a show going on! Boy do I wish I could go over there and get a closer look, lol:laughing:

I am so excited now:cool1:!!! Can't wait until I get to go on board on June 30th:goodvibes.
