FB for grads great idea! Would someone's teen like to set up a FB group? I will ask my son if he is willing. He might just look at me like I have two horns on my head though!

Neither of my sons (the rising college senior or the high grad to be) can set up the Facebook page because they don't know about the cruise yet! It's my son's graduation gift and we are HOPING we can keep it a surprise until the week before graduation in late May. When the oldest one graduated high school in 2009, he chose a Disney cruise over all other travel destinations. The younger son has now done the same. Fine with me! The apple does not fall far from the tree! Both of my guys are on Facebook all the time so as soon as they find out about the cruise, I'm sure they will love to touch base with the other cruisers of similar age.

What colleges are all the grads attending?

Just got this response from DCL regarding the private Palo brunch:

Thank you so much for your request to dine in Palo for brunch onboard the Disney Fantasy.

Unfortunately the Disney Fantasy’s Palo set up is a little different to the one on the Disney Magic. The Private room on the Disney Fantasy during Palo brunch is used for the set up all the food that the guests will be able to enjoy at Palo Brunch.

If you are still interested in Dining at Palo for Brunch then I would suggest checking online to see if there are any opening.

Yes a DisMeet was discussed somewhere along the thread. Because no one has been on the ship yet, no time or place has been discussed. Maybe you can suggest a place for the meet after your preview cruise? Can't wait to hear all about it.

We have been on the Dream a few times and we had a Dismeet near the Vista Cafe on Deck 4 midship (overlooking the atrium). There is plenty of seats and it is centrally located. Also, the Vista Cafe can serve coffees as well as alcoholic beverages if desired.

We are on this cruise as well with a group of about 25. And as mentioned Palo is set up different...there is no private room for brunch...that area is used for brunch food set up.......it is more of an alcove than a private room.

My DH & I will be on this cruise - a btb wthe 6/23 Western cruise. We have a Huge group on that cruise and our FE is still open - while we won't participate here - I just don't understand why it's closed. " Whatever" as my granddaughter would say. On our EBPC 2008 we couldn't get a Palo group but what we did is have a "ladies lunch" at MDR. It was so much fun.

I have been catching up on the posts since work has kept me so busy I haven't had time to check . I started today by booking some time at WDW before the cruise. So assisi811, disneymom70, and scottygirl we will be at the parks before the cruise if people want to try and meet .

I just booked one of the new Royal Guest rooms at Port Orleans. I saw the videos on-line and thought it would be really neat to stay in one of these rooms.

I have booked my Palo dinner and brunch but not sure what else to book. This is the first time we have ever stayed on the concierge level on the cruise so I am not sure what to expect. I have been trying to call the number they gave me but they are always busy and when they call me back I am usually no longer at the number I give them. Anyone have experience in contacting these people?

I am trying to get my DD to make a new FE for us. She wants to go into fashion design for college so I don't see why she can't make us a cool FE. She doesn't seem as into it as I do. She is not sure yet where she is going for college as we are still waiting on 2 schools to let us know. She wants to go to University of Delaware but has been excepted at Purdue (which is where my DH and I went). So if she doesn't get into Delaware it will probably be Purdue.

Sccrmnky2005 I sent you a request to be added to the Facebook group from my Facebook account so I am hoping to be able to follow everyone there.

My high school grad DD would love to join a FB for the cruise. Let me know when it is out there and I will get her to join.

Hi Susan,

We will be staying in a Royal Guest room at POR as well! We come in late on the 29th though so basically just going to bed. We may go to DTD if we have the energy but more than likely we will just check in and go to sleep....although not sure I will sleep that night as I will be too excited for the cruise

I would be interested in participating in a FE group. I will be traveling with my two children ages 13 (son) and 10 (daughter). I also know of at least one other family that woudl be interested in participating (maybe one more). Please let me know if a second FE group is started!!!
