You are bringing the photographers on the June 30th cruise or the June 23rd cruise? Are you still doing both? I am trying to change our July7th western to the June 23rd Western.

OK. Explain - Trash the dress? I know you are getting married at WDW prior to cruising right? wow! Is it costing a fortune and a half to bring the photographers on a cruise or are they family members or someone? Did you get a package deal to bring them? I LOVE seeing the wedding pictures from CC.

My photographers will be Sailin gon June 30-July 7 sailing. We were planning on the June 23 sailing but they have a wedding booked on June 24 so we did this one instead.

Trash the Dress, is just a fun way to have more wedding pictures taken in your attire.

I must be getting old because I have no idea what trash the dress means. I had my dress preserved and it's still in the box after 22 years!

See the above link. It actually doesn't ruin your gown you can get itdry cleaned and then preserve it!!

Amanda, I had never heard of Trashing the Dress either, but it does sound like fun! Mine is just sitting in a box in our closet. I think that idea is so cool!

the travel agent I use sent us a packet today with a welcome back letter from DCL for our cruise and a brochure on the Eastern cruises for next year. Did anyone else get one? It was so much fun to see that!!!!!

It is hard to believe this we have entered June of 2011 and June of 2012 is when we are going.

We didn't get anything but I almost hope we don't get something as I am not telling our son until his 13th birthday on March 29th. I figure that way he will still be able to help decide on which excursions we do. If it shows up and he sees it I will have to get quite creative. On the other hand it would make it more fun for me.

I was planning on making my own FE, but my sister decided she was going to make one for me as she sews and is part of a quilting club. It has turned out great. I will try and post a picture soon. If there is anyone that would like to order one from her, let me know and I will get you in contact with her. I do not know how much she would charge. She does great work. She does not embroider, so if you wanted that you would have to add that on your own.

I'm making our FE too- out of felt. I've never made anything crafty so I can't wait to see what I'm capable of, lol.

I wonder why not everybody gets a welcome back letter? Maybe it has to do with who you book through? We have two staterooms and got two letters.

I'm considering this fish extender thing but it kind of stresses me out. Do you get gifts for every person in the stateroom and do you exchange with every stateroom? It sounds like fun but I'm not that creative!

I wonder if my fellow Dis'ers could help me out. My kids high school is participating in the Pepsi Refresh contest to try and raise $50K to replace our football field and track. On the inside YELLOW cap of certain Pepsi products there is a code that we can use for power votes. If any of you come across these codes please private message me the codes and I will enter the power votes on the Pepsi site! There are also codes on the inside of 12 and 24 boxes. We need to be in the top ten by the end of June! Thanks!

I'm considering this fish extender thing but it kind of stresses me out. Do you get gifts for every person in the stateroom and do you exchange with every stateroom? It sounds like fun but I'm not that creative!

I am not creative at all but I think the fun part outweighs the lack of creativity. There is a great place to find fun things to order to give and that is the Oriental Trading Company. We often shop here for Halloween presents. I thought I would also try to find something unique from here where we live. Don't know what that is yet but I will be keeping my eyes open when we are traveling throughout Colorado this summer. My bet is it won't be something from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or Enstrom Toffee as chocolate and cruises don't seem to go hand in hand. We learned that the last time we were in Florida during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and we left our chocolate in the car . . . oops.

Thank you, We will be up early on Castaway Cay day and taking pictures around the ship etc, then off the ship and onto the island for more fun TTD pics. Were hoping to do the Jet Ski excursion also.

I am starting on lots of DCL designs and plan on adding them to pillowcases and I will post pictures once I get a few samples done it might be a fun gift Idea for the kids, as many people use them to get the characters to sign. The samples I've done in my weding planning journal also includes a few embroidered characters throughout the pillow.

Yes, we have decided this weekend we will do the FE.

I made our FE in 2009 when we did our first crusie so it's not with my machine, but I might have time to make another one, if not I'm still planning on some nice gifts for everyone, trying to find something to make with my machine

SOOOO freakin excited!!!! We are 1 year out from our vacation! We will be doing a 1 week park experience before our cruise. Universal, WDW, maybe Discovery cove and we leave one year from today! I can't believe how quickly this time is coming. But boy oh boy do we have to save the money to do everything we want!

This is sooo motivating my weight loss efforts. I have been scouring the Dream trip reports and getting more and more excited. I hope, to loose 100# by then. (I AM going to loose 100# by then!) I want to go on a vacation and be comfortable in my own skin KWIM?

Anyone else working toward loosing weight?

Something else I was thinking about. How do you guys feel about a thread for our kids to get to know each other? My DD is interested in joining the DIS and I know she would benefit from precruise interaction with other kids.

Something else I was thinking about. How do you guys feel about a thread for our kids to get to know each other? My DD is interested in joining the DIS and I know she would benefit from precruise interaction with other kids.

I think this would be fun for the kids but unfortunately we are not telling our DS until his birthday on March 29th. I guess we could switch and make it a Christmas Present but either way it would still be a while before we would be able to join. Is there an age limit for these posts? Or do we just have the kids write through our names?

I just did my periodic check of the prices for our cruise and if we had booked our cabin today it would cost us almost $2,900 more money then when we locked in a long time ago. Wow, no wonder they have no problem with us cancelling all the way until April as they could turn it around and sell it for a small fortune. To be honest, I don't think I could convince my DH to spend that much money on a Disney Cruise.

I am jealous that some of your Disney vacations are starting ahead of ours but I have not decided yet if we are just going to go to the cruise or if we are going to have a quick stay before at Disney World.
