__________________________________________________Got the 11 check in time. Did NOT get Palo brunch. Boo!!! And no cabana, either, though honestly, I didn't expect to be able to get that.
I'll keep checking for the brunch, and if we STILL don't have it when we get onboard, I'll book it to the dining reservations (any idea where those will be on Fantasy?) and see if we can get one. It's truly the ONE thing I really wanted to do on board, so I'm a little bummed.
We have 13 and 11 year old children. They are very mature. Does Palo allow them in?
Anyone going to dive in St. Maarten and St. Thomas? We are going through outside operator.
This this the DH to QBNQT. We have a child that will be 11 on the cruise (he's limited to a max depth of 40 ft). We could not book through DCL because they have a minimum age of 12. I don't know of first hand experience with these dive ops but their communication has been good so far. The dive ops I contacted are:My DH is. Do you have a reccomendation? For a good operator down there. He will do the one DCL dive, but not sure about any more. We have had some CRAZY dives in the past, so I am a bit paranoid about something going wrong and him not getting back to the ship in time.
I thought it was adults only, thanks. This will be our second cruise and we did do Palo last time without kids but I didn't remember if kids were present. I guess there weren't any. What I remember of Palo is that the dinner was great.Sorry, both Palo and Remy are adult only - 18 and over
I definitely know the DW and I will love Palo. We currently have a young teenager so I don't know how her reaction will be with kids camp. She just may not get a choice.No. Palo is not set up to accommodate children. I doubt your children would really enjoy it anyway. YOU will love it, but they would most likely be happier in the kids' clubs.

When we were on our last DCL cruise two years ago, we were on a 5 day with 3 stops so there wasn't much time for the kids to do kids camp. However, in the middle of the cruise, the kids did go to the camp and made a friend and had fun. Last summer we were at a beaches resort and both the kids were not very interested in their camp. I think with a teen camp, she will be more interested. Last year she was still in that tween phase.Has your daughter been to the teen club before? When my sons were younger, they LOVED the teen club. We booked Palo midweek to late-week. By then the kids had made friends in the teen club and were more than happy for us to have dinner at Palo without them, so they could have dinner with their new friends at the buffet. Plus, my teens thought unlimited room service was really a treat so they did not mind us leaving them at all.
How do you book a cabana for this cruise?

I set up a facebook page for the graduating seniors to get to know each other. Here is the link. https://www.facebook.com/groups/214799315287495/
Once a grad takes over I will exit as administrator and they will have the group all to themselves!![]()

A little excited since that will be the closest to WDW I have ever been. I am a disneyland veteran. Lived there my whole childhood and have been on DCL, but never been to WDW. I heard that even if you stay a week you still cannot see everything there is - EPCOT, etc. Someday!!OK, so I don't feel like I am really prepared for this trip this year. I have booked the usual things (Palo's and excursions) but I usually have my magnets done, FE's started, and planning meet and greets. Any one else feeling behind?
Susan
I have exited the grad facebook page and asked my son to take over as administrator. If anyone has trouble getting accepted to the group let me know and I will gently nudge him in the right direction.
