I'm still wondering the same thing. Is there a Meet & Greet?

What day?2:30 at Vista Cafe
OK TEam. Attached is a PDF file with color coding for the FE program. Remember, you MUST leave a gift in the FE for each member on your stateroom's assigned day and you MAY leave gift any other day. So, for example, if you want to leave an item 3 times for all those 10 and under 2 or 3 times you may, but one of those times must be your assigned day.
I can send this to you in excel if you want, just e mail me at stewiel@aol.com
Also...Meet and greet 2:30 PM at VISTA CAFE deck 4.....seating area next to the café'
You may trade the assigned days but you may NOT trade any of your family members (Even if sometimes you feel you would like to).
Attached file is pdf.
We are staying at port Orleans riverside day before cruise. Not going to the parks. We will probably hang by the pool and head to Disney Springs.Hi team......
Glad everyone got the list. We have just finished scarfing up some stuff for the gifts...my DW Marilyn is very creative with a credit card! (Don't tell her I said this). ANyway...I liked the suggestion of having assigned days because it's so much fun for the kids to see something in the FE....even the smallest thing. So I went with it. I hope no-one is offended.
Meet and greet is SATURDAY JULY 2...as we get on board. Best way to meet. It can be hectic, but just come over for 10-20 minutes, say Hi...let kids (and teens) and us adults (if there really are any on a Disney Cruise) meet. I have liked this since it starts the cruise with familiar faces around the ship. Funny how we always bump into each other over and over.
Someone asked about snorkeling. We decided to go wit a group Kuralu Charters. I am going with Quinn, Simone, and Elijah....DW and GG(3) will go to a nearby beach and hang out.
Now....I need some help. I have read that there is a Formal Night, and one semi formal night. I am an old fashioned cruiser......if there's a formal night, then by gosh I dress formal. Why not? I just don't know if it's still true. So...if anyone has gone on Fantasy before; is there one formal and one semi-formal night?
Also...I KNOW there's a Pirate Night...and Pirate Party....and I have to "buff up" my pirate costume. Please all....do it....get a costume and get into the fun. Last time (a few years ago) people stopped us thinking we were part of the crew!!!!... Hilarious.
OK...any other issues.....let's all stay in touch. Traveling to NYC this weekend..in fact traveling every week till we leave for Orland. Anyone going to be at Disney World before the cruise. We are DVC members and our home is at Beach Club...Will be there 28th June till we go to ship.

Just an FYI- you can book frozen and princess meet n greets as well as the Disney Junior character breakfast online! Go get 'em everyone!!!!
I just just printed it as well. I assume we'll get the tickets in our stateroom.Great tip!!! Thanks! Just booked our Frozen Meet & Greet and the character breakfast (hey, we're 2 adults, but why not?!). I printed off the confirmation. Is that all we have to bring? Or, do we still need to get an official ticket?
Also, we are staying 1 night prior in Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral at the Hilton Homewood Suites.
As far as formal nights, with Disney, I don't think formal attire is required. It is only suggested, people will be wearing casual wear, too.
Great.....Have a great time.....See you on board.....We are staying at port Orleans riverside day before cruise. Not going to the parks. We will probably hang by the pool and head to Disney Springs.
I think your grandkids might be the victims of an affliction that many cruisers, myself included, experience. The more cruises you partake in, the more excited you get for the next! Must be an addiction to the pixie dust. I tell all my friends how excited I am to take my kiddos on this journey. But truth be told-they are just my cover up......Hi all,
Just thought I would let people in on a little item that has surprised me and DW. Our 17 year old grandson and 15 yo granddaughter are more excited for this cruise than the 8 year old and 3 year old. And they've been on 3 Disney Cruises already! I guess you can never tell, right.
We were told by a CSR that Formal Night was Sunday July 3rd and Semi-formal night was Thursday July 7th.Hi team......

We booked this so long ago, can't believe it's almost here! Have you started to pack? We are in another FE group on FB also, so you can imagine my FE gifts take up an entire suitcase! LolGiving us a bump! Are we getting excited yet?!
Suitcases are out and we have started throwing some things in! Also, I've got some clothes out and am deciding what to take.We booked this so long ago, can't believe it's almost here! Fantastic and welcome to the group! Sounds like you will have great family time. Can we cruise with you?! Just made last minute reservations! DH & I are flying down from NJ. Our DD (almost 23) graduated college last May & completed an internship with Disney from August 2015 - June 2016. She is living in Orlando, hoping to continue with a full time position at Disney. While she is in the midst of interviews & applications we decided to give her a week's vacation! We haven't done a Disney cruise since she was 7 !
See you soon!
Oh boy oh boy.........DW showed me the FE stuff. I need a suitcase for all this! Seriously, any newbees here please meet us at Vista Café 2:30 on Saturday (sail away day)....looking forward to shaking hands with as many as possible.
We are doing our packing.....one thing every day....till panic mode on Sunday. We are leaving Tuesday for our place (DVC members) at Beach Club Villas. Will be there Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri nights....if anyone around, give a shout. Text me if you are there 310-720-6776.
Remember "safe" sunscreen (no preservatives for kids), and cheerful disposition.
