Hi all!

A quick "official" Fish Extended update. So far, I have 29 cabins of participants, with the possibility of a few iffy ones. I'm sure some more will roll in as time gets closer. I'm going to start to close sub groups this weekend to allow families to begin planning. For those of you traveling in multiple staterooms for one family, do you prefer to have the same or different sub group? (Keep in mind that some FE folks will be giving the same gift to each stateroom, so you might end up with 2 of the same things; but at the same time, you'll be able to deliver gifts together).

A quick FE tip-- there are some great Disney/Star Wars FE gift ideas now that back-to-school clearance is in full swing! Happy hunting!

I have no idea how to send you a private message but I would like to sign my family up for FE and because I LOVE to plan I would like to get started now to search for FE gifts for others. How do I contact you directly with specifics?

Just wanted to say Hi. We will be on this cruise (Terri and David) accompanied by my mother (Virginia) and our 4 year old granddaughter Amelia. It will be our first cruise with a child but we are looking forward to it! Is there a Facebook page? I looked but couldn't find anything.

Hi! We're finally confirmed for the Fantasy Jan 14th eastern cruise!!! And really looking forward to the Star Wars day! yay! Please place us on any list going. I'm reading that you're separating into ~15 cabins each, great. I don't mind either way. We're a family of 4, mom, dad, and 2 girls, ages 8 and 9 years old. Last cruise was our first doing the fish extenders and we loved it. The girls loved sneaking around putting gifts into pockets. : )

We didn't get to meet any of our fellow group last time, and would really like to meet up, some how this time. The gifts were so amazing it would be nice to meet the people behind them! So, would love to do that. And would love to hook up with other kids and pen pals would be fun for the girls.

We brought pirate costumes last cruise and it was really fun! Will do again and yes, will bring star wars costumes this time.

Will keep looking for updates here....we live in Ottawa, Canada.

We are confirmed!! Is there any way we could be part of a FE group? I know its last minute but we would love to join in on the fun!! We have a stateroom for 5 - my husband and I and 2 boys (13, 9) and one girl (11) and another room with 2 more of our girls in it (18 and 16). We would prefer the same sub group so we could deliver gifts together if possible.

We are confirmed for the January 14 Disney Cruise as well and would love to participate in the FE if the group is still open.

This is our first Disney cruise (and a Christmas gift to our three littles) and we are super excited.

We have one stateroom which includes my husband and I, our two boys (7 and 4) and daughter (2).

Very happy this morning, just logged into the cruise line site and see that all the requests we made to shoreside concierge came thruSo we have our Palo brunch, Remy dinner, shore excursions, and Cabana #5 on the family beach!!I also found out from shoreside concierge, that Sunday night is Formal night, Tuesday night is Pirates night (without fireworks) but with the buffet, and Thursday is Star Wars Day, with a show and Fireworks at night!! Can't wait

Hello again fellow DCL cruisers!

Unless someone in the very near future wants to step up, I am happy to organize the FE program for the January 14 cruise on the Fantasy. This is my family's first time cruising DCL, so I'm also new to Fish Extenders. I've read enough about them through Trip Reports to know the basics, and I know that it takes organization and a lot of patience!

To get the ball rolling, if you are sailing this cruise and interested in participating, please either PM me or reply to this thread. I'll maintain a master list of rooms, family names, and allergies/restrictions/favorites etc if that is okay. When we get closer to the sailing, we can look at total number of cabins/individuals participating and decide how we want to break up the list. Ideally, it would be nice to have FE groups of 10-15 rooms, so we're not having to schlep 60 mini keychains onboard!

For now, if you are participating, please include number of cabins who will have FE, a family name as contact for each cabin (for my recordkeeping), ages/gender of those participating (optional), any dietary restrictions (optional), and any favorite Disney characters/movies (optional). Keep in mind that aside from a general name and number of people participating, any additional information is TOTALLY optional but might allow participants to better personalize gifts. When we get within the cut off range (maybe a month or two out), I'll send out a confirmation request for all participants-- which is when you reply to me with your room number to ensure we have an accurate listing for the sailing.

I'm happy to send out a monthly check-in private conversation to all those participating just to update you all on number of rooms participating if you'd like.

We are concierge level on this sailing, and one of the perks is being able to book activities and shore excursions 125 days out.

For any posters new to this thread, welcome aboard! It's absolutely not too late to join our Fish Extender group. I am maintaining a spreadsheet of all cabins participating, and I'll be sending out lists as soon as I can get my act together. As for how to convey important information, I was hoping to be able to send a private message (PM) to all individuals which would include an attached spreadsheet of rooms/names. According to DIS policy (as far as I can tell), I can't ask for your emails or provide you with mine, or direct you to a facebook page. I'm still waiting to hear back from DIS moderators about this, but for now, if you can't PM me, please post this and I will try sending you a test message.

I would highly recommend that any newbies to the DIS make a few posts so that they can use the PM feature. Don't quote me on this, but I think it's maybe 8-10 posts/comments total, which isn't much.

Totally unrelated, would anyone be interested in naming our cruise sailing for our FE group? Feel free to post suggestions, and I will try and figure out how to post a poll for voting. Maybe something Star Wars? Disney Fantasy: The Cruise Awakens? Put on your thinking caps, and post some ideas!

Hello everyone! Super excited to join you guys! We just decided to book this cruise, long story short, we have 5 kids (4 are adults, OMG am I really that old?) and we are going on the Norway/Iceland cruise this summer. Our oldest daughter is married and has 2 young children. We were ALL going to go on the cruise this summer, but after giving it lots of thought, we decided that dragging a 3 year old and 13 month old across the ocean would be pretty stressful and they wouldn't really get that much from the trip. So we decided to take my daughter and her family on this cruise to make up for kicking her off of that one! We went on the first Star Wars Cruise last year with 2 of our other children and loved it! Hopeful to participate in the Fish Extender as well. We have 2 cabins:
