I am sure once we hit Christmas we will have more things we are finding to share. Hope everyone is doing well and had a great Easter.

I'm still working on feeling better. I tend to get bronchitis in the Spring because of the pollen and temperature changes in our area. I have my followup appointment tomorrow. I was joking with my mother about the need to move out to Arizona or Utah somewhere with no pollen and humidity because of seasonal allergies. This is funny because I'm born and raised in this area so not very likely to occur.

My vehicle got hit today while I was at work so it'll be a fun week having myself checked out tomorrow and my car checked out the next day. Hopefully it won't take too long to fix it. Since the person was parking, it's just a few dents and major scratches along it.

LiAnne, Sorry to hear things aren't going well. DH and I always say the luck we have is bad-luck...LOL

So how is everyone doing these days....not very chatty. I am sure it won't be chatty over the summer either. Hope every once in awhile everyone checks in to say Hiya and anything cool they do over the summer.

I am excited , I got DD(8) an Ariel bathing suit for our Sept WDW vacation. We just switched from PoP to AoA. We love POP--favorite value resort. But Art of Animation Little Mermaid buildings open up one week before we get there, so they will be BRAND NEW!! Love that idea!! So her bathing suit will match our area!!

I'm imagining I'll be pretty absent this summer like you said. Normally for our MBA program, we only will be doing 2 classes a term. However with this being my first semester, they add an extra two to the docket. So I'll be taking four classes so full time, while working full time, and dealing with normal family issues too. So I don't imagine I'll have much time for posting this summer. Hopefully it'll calm down after the summer or not be as intense as I'm picturing it to be. But I'll guess we'll see in a month when the first of the classes start.

Nothing much going on over in my neck of the woods. I am at work right now and should probably be doing paperwork and phone calls, but looking on the dis is way more fun

Well def. not good news at the Dr. but thanks for the well wishes either way. . It is the same old thing wrong with me. At least it's easy and predictable though.

This happened to me last year too. The Dr basically said I just work too much and go go go so much I don't recover like I should. Basically when I should sleep I stay up to read, plan, relax, etc. and don't focus on me like she feels I should.

They gave me some shots and scripts so hopefully this will finally cure it for this year. Our area doesn't have the best stats for pollution and on top of that our pollen levels are really bad right now and the humidity isn't helping at all. It's kind of funny because allergies were all they were talking about on the radio today so I am def. not suffering alone.

Well I'm done posting about my being sick. If it's out of sight, it's out of mind and I'll have to be feeling better soon.

Hope everyone is doing well and that everyone's Disney plans are coming along fabulously.

Good morning everyone! I don't have much to report regarding Disney stuff on our end. I did find a great embroiderer (Stitches n bows) on Etsy and just got the kids pillow cases made last week. They are beautiful, and I cant wait to have them signed by the characters! I bought the fabric to make our FE (If I can just get up the nerve to start sewing) I am not a great sewer...My mom has been trying to teach me, but I am not sure her talent is rubbing off! LOL I have also been compiling ideas for FE gifts. I have a few good ideas that I hope everyone will enjoy!
I must say all the spring break cruise/vacation commercials have made it hard to be stay patient for 2013, especially the one about the sea calling...very cute! I have been able to keep myself pretty busy with running the boys to baseball practice and cub scouts. This summer we will try to fill the time with camping. I have planned a camping trip for each month through October it will be our biggest camping season yet!
I hope everyone else is doing well.....I enjoy reading the posts on this board and getting to know a little about everyone

It was pretty cute having the kids wear the custom shirts and outfits because everyone around them would be saying their names and it was just another of the magical memories for them. It was also pretty funny watching them look all around them trying to figure out how these people knew their names.

However I was surprised how many families had the same types of shirts but I thought it was great because it helped create special memories for all of us.

That's funny you have her on your Facebook page. I like looking at her Facebook page from time to time. My daughter's picture is up on the top of her Facebook page in the Minnie Mouse Tinkerbell dress. I went a bit crazy buying cute little dresses and outfits for our cruise and parks trip in January so of course I had to share a few pictures.

Hello cruisers! So... I am posting here because technically I am booked for this cruise next year. However, it is supposedly just another dummy booking until the 2014 itinerary is available to book. But I am SO excited about trying out the Fantasy, trying the Eastern vs. the Western itinerary we did last December, and getting a pretty smoking price on a verandah, not to mention getting to cruise with DCL again! So I decided to check out the cruise meet thread, and wow, you guys have been chatting for awhile! Kudos!

So DH is not aware that I am planning on making this our actual cruise. He will likely be against it because we are going to Aulani (Hawaii) this November and a Carnival cruise to Alaska with extended family in June 2013 (boo, I know, I was outvoted!) He does not think we should cruise twice a year. I, on the other hand, believe differently!

I don't want to be manipulative or sneaky about this, but I still need to figure out a way to convince him this is a great idea. I'm a numbers girl, always running scenarios in spreadsheets, so I'm trying to figure out a way to reduce our monthly budget by making sacrifices to afford this cruise so soon after our two other vacations. My first idea is to downgrade our smart phones; we've already discussed this, and I think he'll be on board with it, which could save us $80/month. Making lunches instead of buying in the cafeteria could probably save another $50/month. I'm also wondering if I need to sacrifice a few weekend getaways between now and then, which average around $500 each. And last but not least... maybe skip a second year of Disneyland APs (we're skipping this year for Aulani). Maybe you guys can share the creative ways you keep costs down to afford your vacations?
