Disney Fantasy Cruise November 8th - 15th 2014 ... here we come!

Good Morning cruisers....any other returning folks stay up to midnight to book last night? We did and anyone who can't yet book and wants me to check on specific port adventures I would be glad too.

We are BIG door decorators. I'll see if I can be inspired and find the photos of our past efforts.....

Have a super FANTASTic weekend....:cheer2:
I stayed up to book cabana #20 at Serenity Beach, Remy Dinner on Monday (Cozumel day), Palo Dinner on Wednesday (Jamaica day), Palo Brunch on Thursday (at sea). Being solo, I may drop Remy as at least I've dined there in the past, but I may muster up the nerve to do it anyway. If I keep the cabana it will be for the cold drinks and shade - lol - otherwise I'll stay on the ship on CC day unless it's an unusually cool day. :cool1:

I was never a big door decorator but used to put up a few magnets, until I had some stolen. So odds are I'll probably not have anything on my door.

We got everything we wanted!!! ;) Hope you all do too!!

Just checking on your midnight process - as silver I'll be doing it in less than 30 days. Did you put dummy data in all the cruisers info temporarily to get to the actual booking part? That's my plan as I'll be doing this process for 15 people for 4 cabins. I want to get in far enough as quickly as possible to get the earliest PAT for all four cabins and then get the adults registered for Palo brunch since there are only two sea days.

Is that the normal midnight process?

WIFamily - Since those who can book at 120 days are either Platinum or Concierge, we don't have a PAT and can show up whenever we like. That also means going directly to bookings and not having to do online check-in first.

What "dummy info" are you referring to? Just payment info or something more? Are all four of your cabins under one reservation?

All this talk about FE to my Bestie has her interested. she'll be joining our group shortly after she catches her breath!

Isn't it a shame that some will spoil all the fun by stealing magnets. What we use are magnets that are personalized with a name - date or stateroom, hopefully useless to others and what 4 The Love of Disney said, even once re-using the magnets you get as freebie handouts. Now I use the plastic pockets for letter size sheets that we glued magnets to and insert a new sheet each day. Easy and Fun.

Gee,,,,we may need to track down your cabana number if it is really hot on CC day. Will you share with 50 of your closest (new) friends. :beach:

Midnight is Eastern Time - it used to be pacific years ago but now Eastern.

The way the system works is that you click your reservation. It will be preloaded with which guests are under that number.

Then you click on the date - Say November 13. It will show categories, one is Dining..

Click on dining - it will show what is available that day - ie brunch, dinner....

Say you want Palo Bruch, click that and it will ask for what members of the reservation party. They will be pre-loaded. So, if your party is 4 - DW, DH, DD, DS, then you can check DW and DH. I do not believe that DS and DD will show up if they are under 18. However, if you want to dine with best friends for Palo and they are not silver, you cannot book for them unless you have the two reservations "linked" under your name. You will need to get someone to help you link the reservations. Even then, the system may know that the others are not silver and decline to book.

At least that was how it worked the last time I checked. (translation, you might want to check with Disney to verify) you can only book for those that show up on your reservation. There is no way to put in dummy names.

Can anyone else post recent experiences on this issue? Thanks.

Yes, that is the better way to ask. If all four cabins are under one reservation you may be able to do it unless the system knows the others are not silver. But if you have four different reservations I do not think you can reserve for them.

LOL - I know you're joking and probably know that they don't allow "drop-ins." The Guests of each cabana have to be registered for that cabana and have the proper wristband. No visitors. Bummer.

This is our first cruise, how do i get involved in the fish extenders group? I have heard this is a fun thing to do!

This is the official meet for the November 8th 2014 Disney Fantasy Cruise. We did it - we booked! So exciting! Anyone else with us?

I will post information about the fish extender shortly. We have some time to plan :cool1:

My name is Stacey, and joining me will be my DH James and my DS Max 13, DD Madeline 12 and DD Mia 9!

How do I get in on the FE? Is it too late? this is our first time on Disney cruise DH-Mike, DS-Logan 6 and DD-Leah 4.

Thanks,
Paula

Taswira and Chip&Dale&Fun,

From what I remembered from our 2007, you had to complete all the "My Online Check-In" information before you could do anything with online bookings. In 2007 we had a local TA, and I had to enter in all the cruisers information Passport, address, age, birthdate, yada yada yada. This cruise we have gone through DU, and I'm not sure if any of that information will be pre-populated from what we have supplied to DU.

If it's not populated, then I plan on entering a bunch of dummy data in there, such as addresses and passport information just to get through it quickly - it will be updated after I get the bookings desired.

All 4 cabins are all linked, and I have the information needed to access all four of them (a name and birthdate of one in each cabin). We have also spread around the kids to make sure each cabin has one Silver Castaway club member in each cabin.

WIFamily - - DCL does need to know the proper IDENTITY of each Guest before you make those online ressies after you are PIF, but has never (for me anyway - lol) required me to do online check-in completion first. I don't think they'll allow you to book "dummy" slots for anything. I certainly would not put in fake passport info, as I always thought they check that.

Also, are you able at this time to see all four rooms? Linked or not, you may end up having to log in for each if separate reservations, and can only do so at the time appropriate for the highest CC level in each cabin. :confused3

Good luck!

Why not just have all the folks enter their own information so there is no issue with the correct information. And if everyone is silver, then why not set a day and time for everyone to sign up for - that way there is no issue with any "dummy" information which might create issues. We did this with friends and then once on board we had one member of each stateroom go and adjust the times so we could sit together. We had 8:00, 8:15 and 8:30 for example.

Just a thought.....
