Unfortunately not for OGT (although seeing your post got me to look at our ressie ).

We're you GTY? Did you get a room in the Cat that you booked or did they upgrade? Just wondering how full the ship is given that they have IGT, OGT and VGT. Figure Cat specific GTY would have best shot at upgrades over the other guarantees.

I am a newbie only 2 cruises and the Fantasy is my third. So please excuse my ignorance, but what is OGT, IGT and VGT?

It is feeling real now! We received our 7A GTY reservation today. I booked two 7A and received connecting 5C. Very excited!!!! I cannot find any pics or reviews on the exact rooms, but I know they'll be great.

Hope everyone else gets theirs soon. I updated my FE stateroom #.

I've actually only seen it on DCL in the past year. It is where you are guaranteed a specific type of room, but not a category or room location or number.

IGT = Inside Guarantee

VGT = Verandah Guarantee

We are guaranteed anything from an 9D up to an 8A based on what they have available. We booked an 8C on our last cruise and it was great, but any of these rooms will be great.

Your welcome. It is actually a great way to get on DCL last minute if your schedule allows. The one thing to remember thought with booking these rooms though is that they are non-refundable and can't be changed. So you will have to be 100% certain you can go.

We originally were looking at the 5 night CC double dip that left on the 19th, but it disappeared before we were able to book it. That actually worked to our benefit because now we're on this cruise. We'll love the extra 2 nights and Seven Mile Beach will be a good alternative to the second CC stop. Plus, the price per night were almost identicaly.

The other cruise we considered was the 8/20 Alaska cruise, but based on non-stop flights home from Seattle, we would have missed DS's first day back to school.

Yes, there is a laundry with iron, 1 laundry for 2 decks.

Welcome Edwin. I see you too jumped at the OGT they had out there. Those prices were really good.

I'm following a room assignment thread regarding these types of guaranteed rooms and I see several IGT bookings getting Cat 5 balcony rooms. Of the handful of OGT's on their, they got an oceanview room. I'm just happy to have a room on the ship, but wouldn't mind a balcony.

I also have a 6yr old who has NO issues making friends, in fact she LOVES to make them. This is her 3rd Disney Cruise and she loves them. Maybe the Girls can get together and play! We are always looking for new friends.

Yes, let's definately meet up!! Our Stateroom is 8084. I would love for my daughter to make a friend her own age to run around with.





Lets make a plan of it. Love the girls to know another buddy for the clubs. Also, did you say you have other kids traveling with you? How old are they? Does it work for them to all be in the same club?

The last time we cruised the first day they had an "Open house" kind of thing at the play area, maybe we could meet there and have the Girls meet and play a little. What do you think??

I have my niece, who is almost 14(who we will be using as a babysitter at night) and my nephew who is 12, so older kids. My daughter is the only "little" person we have in our group. I am VERY excited. I know my daughter LOVES making new friends and having a friend she can meet and play with will make her trip SO much more enjoyable!!! YAY!!!

we will get the girls together. I inboxed you my number. WE don't have a room yet. Becca is 6. we will be at the Hyatt the night before. I also think meeting at the pool is good.
My boys are not going this trip but last summer my son almost 13 went and loved the Edge. He made so many friends!!! your niece and nephew are going to love it.

Edwin welcome aboard!! We too booked VGT. Great deal!!! My daughter is 6 Becca and I too am hoping to have her make some friends for the club. She went to the club last summer and loved it. We are meeting up with Karina. I will say your girls can stick together in the clubs which should be nice for them. Let all keep in touch as we get closer to make plans.

Sorry but Idon't know that. You can find it with the ship map on DCL site. On th ship all is near and far on the same time ! It's holidays ! Just a think : don't wait special party times for use iron, because more people do that ! On the afternoon it's better. I hope you understand all I write because I'm French and I don't speak very well your language. Good day !
