We are so super excited. Yes we have signed up for a few excursions only one through the cruise though. Here is our line-up
1. Moby Dick Tours to Stingray City (Non Disney) when at the Cayman
2. The Amazing Secret River when in Cozumel (Through Disney)
3. Chacchoben Mayan Ruins (The Native Choice Non Disney) when at Costa Maya

We finalized our excursions also,
Grand Cayman- Stingray and snorkel tour with Captain Marvins
Cozumel- Dunebuggy and beach with Disney
Costa Maya- nothung really, might get off the boat might stay on.

Can anyone tell me about the dunebuggy excursion?

Me, DH and DD 5 1/2. We are from Huntington Beach, Ca. Very excited!!! This will be my Hubby first Disney Cruise and he is a little worried about going. He not sure he going to like it. I am coming so late to the game and my agent will not be available until Monday to pay our final deposit. Was hoping someone could check and let me know if their are any times left at Remy and Palo. Noticed that most of you have been sharing your excursions and reservations.... so here are ours:

Grand Cayman: Island Tour (leaving us plenty of time to explore afterwards).
Costa Maya: Nothing booked. (Our family couldn't agree on anything so we'll just enjoy the port area... which will still be a lot of fun!)
Cozumel: Cozumel Highlights and Mayan Ruins (@10am so we still have time to ourselves afterwards.)
Castaway Cay: Getaway Package (bikes, floats & snorkel equipment..... fun!!!).


Reservations: Palo Brunch on Thursday 8/23 (@ 10:00am so there's an entire day to burn off all the calories)

Are there any plans for a DIS meet on the first day?

Unless there is anyone else that is interested, we are going to close the FE list in the next day or so. Right now we are at 14 confirmed cabins participating, with one cabin (Dayita) I have not heard back from. I am thinking that she is no longer going to be cruising with us, but she has not logged on to the DIS in a few months.

I am so last minute on this cruise a little worried about things. This will be Hubby first cruise. We sailed the Alaska last summer with my mom and all I did was do research so everything was great. Now I'm freaking out!! Because I want my hubby to experience how great a Disney cruise is. WE have the lowest level IGT room and Late dinning!!!! I have to get out of late dinning!!!!!
I'm not that happy with my travel agent. I don't think she wants to help much after making the reservation. Any thoughts would be great. ALSO DOES IT LOOK LIKE WE ARE IN THE PORTS FOR MUCH LESS TIME then years past?

It looks as if main dining is still available to book online. Also I scoped it out and the price difference between a IGT and a VGT for your party is about $180. Since you have not paid yet, you probably could upgrade. If not, remember on the Fantasy there are virtual port holes, which I like better than the actual port holes.

Why are you so sweet!!!!! There are just such people on this board.. Seriously, thank you all for checking on things and caring. I have not yet booked. I can't book until Monday am when my agent is back and I have confirmation (which I get tonight from hubby) that he gets this time. I so hop that VGT is there in the morning and the main dinning. that would be HUGE!!!!! I want my hubby to get the amazing relaxing vacation that man deserves. And then to have magical moments with his daughter. Yes it would be such a blessing. I love him. And am so excited Chris for what you found. Here hoping tomorrow works!!!!

Nope, I still see it there... I put in two adults one child age 5 on the DCL site.

Unless there was only one left and me looking at it grabbed the ressie for 30 minutes. If that is the case, once you get the ok from your DH, maybe book it without the TA, since you did not seem to be such a big fan of them... Unless their OBC offer is really good.
