Looking for feedback on the Disney family photo portrait service. How was it? What locations did you use?

Thanks!

I would also like to hear anyone's feedback. Considering this for our Feb trip.

I'd like to see some pics! they only have 2 families on the site.... anyone know if you have to book this way ahead,or can you book when you get there?

Several years ago I did this at the Poly for pics of the kids. They turned out great. This was back when it was offered through photopass. It looks like the cost has doubled...but the pictures are that much better. I was looking into an outside photographer for my oldest's senior pics at Disney. I might reconsider and go with this!

it looks like the cheapest option is 150.00 for the session:scared: plus 75 for a few pics..... are there ever discounts,I wonder? I'd love to do a family shoot, but I also want to see more pics, are ALL the photogs skilled? with general photopass pics, it is pretty varied as to skill....

I think I'm going to try the $150 session before I splurge for the expensive one. When I did this it was $75...through photopass and I think it was new at the time. We had way longer than 20 minutes. Photos were not an option at the time, just the cd. I have great pics of my kids on the beach with the castle in the background....on the hammock.....by the tree on the hill. Well worth the money I paid. I've hunted for discounts...and can not find any.

We have done this on our last two trips, most recently last month. Our fist session was at the Poly. Last month we did the Cars section of AoA. Highly recommend it. Our pics were great! We booked the $150 package a few months in advance. I think the cost is pretty reasonable. Both times we had about 50 pics and just got inexpensive prints back home from Shutterfly. If someone could tell me how to post pics, I would be glad to share:)

I would love to see you pictures! Which did you like better, poly or cars?

I liked both sessions in different ways. The Poly session was a little more formal family portrait looking. We did get a few with the castle in the background, but that was the only "Disney" thing about them. The AoA pics were in your face Disney World. There are things I like about both. Just depends what you're looking for.

Here is a link to my photobucket with a few pics...
