that you have been on and enjoyed? Looking for a reasonably priced tour in the MK. Can anyone tell me about the Family Magic Tour or other recs?
We'll be there first of May at BLT.

Thanks so much!

We did this a couple of years ago and it was just ok. I thought it would be more fun than it was. Kids were 5 and 8. It was a small group so they got to participate alot and thought it was fun. We enjoyed the special M&G. I think we would have had more fun if we had not planned it on our only MK morning and if it wasn't so hot. Even the kids thought we were wasting valuable morning ride time. If your looking for something extra to do, we all enjoyed the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise much better and would recommend that.

Someone is a Peter Pan fan! ^

I've done both the Family Magic Tour and the Pirates and Pals Cruise and loved them both.

The FMT, was more a scavenger hunt throughout the park. We were taken on the Buzz lightyear ride during it. That probably depends on crowd levels. I thought it was great for kids under 10. A lot of interaction. We had to sneak up on certain cast members; were skipping, galloping around the park.. then a Peter Pan/Wendy payoff at the end. Overall a great time

The PIrate and Pals starts off with a dessert party at the contemporary with a Hook/Smee photo op. Desserts were ok..nothing to rave...

THen you get into your group with a pirate and go to your boat. He tells stories, sings songs, gives out prizes (I won the first prize when he asked another group where they were from. They said England. For some reason I decided to yell out God Save the Queen. The pirate liked that and gave my DS a prize.)

You watch the fireworks from the boat which is great... no crowds and less noise. Peter Pan is waiting when you dock.

I say do both!

If you're going with teens the Segway Tour at FW is alot of fun. It's about $90 a person. Since your at BLT you can get to FW pretty quick. We did it this past Sept and had a blast. Note its for those 16 and over. Its official name is the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure.

Does anyone know if the FM tour only runs at 10am or is there an afternoon one?
