Disney Face Character??

Hi, so I've been hoping to apply for the Disney College program but I'm only a junior. But I do plan too in the future for Disneyworld. As much as I would love to be a princess face character I don't think I resemble any of the them or any character. Because I have moderate brown skin, long black hair, a slightly asian nose (but not as wide), a height between 5'2 and 5'3, and not to mention I live across the U.S (I live in Oregan). So if I were to audition and get accepted who would I be able to portray, and has anyone seen a character with any of my similar features? But would I even make it past the first round? Please answer this is my dream, but my physical features hold me back ...

Well she's only 15. This will be in at least 3 years. Are you sure it won't change by then?

It's always good to plan ahead, especially if it's something you really want to do!

No matter what, go to at least 1 audition. They are always looking for different things and it might be something you can do! Just go! It's fun, it's an experience, and even if you aren't picked, it'll teach you what you need to work on (Dancing, smiling, posture, etc). I've known people who got in after 1 audition but it's very rare. Most people I've know who became friends with characters went to 10+ auditions before they got the call-back. It's a total shot in the dark, but you should always go for it! You never know what new "friends" you might make.

If your goal is truly the DCP - keep Character Performer in mind, but also pick another area as your fallback. Pick something with a description that you will enjoy. And don't dismiss anything! I've heard that Custodial is actually a really great role, even though at first glance it may not seem appealing.

*Oh also, if you really want to prepare for an audition. Take some basic acting classes, or just work on smiling and talking on camera or in a mirror. You should also learn some basic dance moves, since many (not all!) auditions have a dance routine. It helps to know a box step, ball change, and grapevine beforehand. Playing charades also helps since some auditions might ask you to act out a scene without speaking. The bigger and more defined your movements are - the better!

If you're accepted to participate in the CP, there will be at least one character/entertainment audition during your program. It would be unusual to get a princess/face spot unless your features are spot on.

If you're only interested in entertainment, you can audition anytime! I auditioned right before I graduated from high school and worked that summer/fall. It was not in the CP, rather just a regular employee.

I applied for the spring advantage program a couple days ago. During this time I was supposed to be attending central washington university but unfortunately because of some classes issues I had to transfer to a community college near my house where I am now take 16 credits. How do I go about fixing this on my application? Are they going to call central washington university to
discuss my enrollment? Did I completely ruin my chances? I am kind of freaking out.
